Is there a way to trade with yourself? I.E. If you have both to trade things from one version to the other, particularly for the purpose of trade evolutions?

For trade evolutions you get a device later that "trade evolves" pokemon.

For trading with yourself for other reasons... you would need a go between.

Second question: Is rock not immune to electric anymore? My Roggenrola keeps getting hit with thundershock, and it does damage. Is this by design or a bug?

Only ground is immune to electric.

The major reason why rock always SEEMED to be immune to rock is because in the first generation Rock was teamed up with ground a lot of the time.

Feels kinda lame that they just give you Latios/Latias and their megastone because plot.  Roaming pokemon were kinda a major pain, but this is a little much.

Mine came at Lv.100, moves were Wish, Confusion, and Rest. Ability is Serene Grace. It was holding a Salac Berry. Odd in that it only has three moves, and is lacking its signature Doom Desire. I'll note that Doom Desire sounds like a pretty damn scary move on paper. It was probably intended to be called "Death Wish", though the original Japanese is still Doom Desire, since basically, Jirachi wishes for the death of its opponent, and then it happens.
