Seems like as good a time as any to start some worldbuilding! Here's my offering:

B1

You are Alfric Grimwine, sitting Chairman of the Order for the Protection of Otterball, a position you acquired after working your way up through the organisation for years, having started out as a mere Squire of the Order in your hometown of Baileywick. You are currently in a meeting with the other high-ranking Order members and the Seers you employ, clairvoyant individuals who use the potent hallucinogen Alocene to induce trance-like states in which they speak prophetically about things they could not possibly know, though they don't actually see the future and their statements are only true by mystical coincidence. There are many Seers in the world, including those who don't even know that they are Seers yet, but your Order has sought to acquire the services of as many as possible in order to be fully prepared for any possible threats to the preservation of Otterball, past, present, and future. Right now, you are meeting to discuss the most significant such threat you have ever seen in your personal tenure as Chairman, a rival group who call themselves the Cult of the Seething Spider and who you believe to have, much like the Order itself, thoroughly infiltrated the worldly structures and bureaucracies of the Empire, and many other organisations besides, in pursuit of their doubtless diabolical ends. For months, your agents have been working to uncover and counteract the nefarious plans of this nebulous yet far-reaching secret society, lest the art of otterball be lost to the world, as nearly happened centuries ago at the founding of the Order — and indeed, if the Seers are to be believed, this plot could be no less, or even greater, a shame to the Order as that fateful disaster if your foresight fails you... or just as much a triumph to go down in your name if you succeed!

As of the moment, you are in the Port city of Hammerstone, a large and wealthy settlement based on trans-continental trade, and your main supply of smuggled Alocene after it was made illegal in the Imperial lands. There have been rumors of a Dragon-Cult active in the area, apparently resurging after a drake was sighted in the skies above the southern farmlands. This is, of course, ridiculous, since there are no Dragons.
However, there have also been rumors of the rulers of the city being bribed or blackmailed, possibly going as far up the chain of command as Lord Kromydun himself. There has been a lot of silence from a news perspective recently, but your spies have discovered that there have been similar rumors going all over the Empire, in West Breidmark and the Feiterlands most notably. It's possible that someone just made a very well timed political move...

5.

You are Alfric Grimwine, sitting Chairman of the Order for the Protection of Otterball, a position you acquired after working your way up through the organisation for years, having started out as a mere Squire of the Order in your hometown of Baileywick.

The Order, dedicated to the preservation of Otterball, employs Seers, clairvoyant individuals who use the potent hallucinogen Alocene to induce trance-like states in which they speak prophetically about things they could not possibly know, though they don't actually see the future and their statements are only true by mystical coincidence.

As of the moment, you are in the Port city of Hammerstone, one of the Order's main bases of operation and a popular site for Otterball culture and activity. The city, being a large and wealthy settlement based on trans-continental trade, is also your main supply of smuggled Alocene after it was made illegal in the Imperial lands.

You are currently in a meeting with the other high-ranking Order members and a few of the Seers, discussing the most significant threat to Otterball you have ever seen in your personal tenure as Chairman — a rival group who call themselves the Cult of the Seething Spider and who you believe to have, much like the Order itself, thoroughly infiltrated the worldly structures and bureaucracies of the Empire, and many other organisations besides, in pursuit of their doubtless diabolical ends. For months, your agents have been working to uncover and counteract the nefarious plans of this nebulous yet far-reaching secret society, which, according to the Seers, may pose as great a danger to Otterball as anything the world has ever known...

You: "The Cult of the Seething Spider. We have gathered here today to discuss this ominous threat that continues to loom over our Order, ever encroaching on the continued existence of Otterball. Not since the tyrant sorcerer-king of centuries ago who nearly abolished Otterball for all time, leading to the founding of our very organization, has there been such an insidious and menacing threat. Comrades, the hour is upon us."

You: "A few days ago, one of our convoys transporting a large amount of gold was attacked by the Cult, costing us greatly. How was this allowed to happen?"

A man sitting to your left, the Order's Chief of Funding, Lilus Bucklenine, soon speaks: "The route was supposed to be secure... Remius confirmed it."
He looks to a man sitting to your right, a Remius Shadoway, the Order's Chief of Information.

Remius looks to you with a troubled expression.
"My informants did report the Cult's movement, but by then it was too late. It was like the Cult knew exactly when, where, and how to strike. If I were to guess, I'd say there is a spy amongst our Order, someone of a high rank no less."

Everyone looks worriedly at each other.

"...Where is the vice-chair? Aren't they supposed to be here?" Asks the woman to your left, the Order's Chief of Events and Planning, Lynn Peachtint, as she notes the empty seat on the other end of the table.

"I've not been able to locate the vice-chair... my people are still on it as we speak." Answers Remius.

You: "...Hmm. What about the cultist spy we caught trying to break into our chamber of records?"

"She's still denying that she has anything to do with the Cult. Says that she has no idea how the Seething Spider emblem ended up in her possession." Says a man to your far left, Kent Oddfox, the Order's Chief of Security.

"This all makes me rather uneasy..." Says a woman sitting a few seats to your left, the Order's Chief of Diplomacy and Trade, Felisa Trinitas. "What exactly are they trying to achieve?"

You: "So far, from what we've gathered, the Cult is targeting other powerful organizations, like ourselves and the Imperial Army. It seems that they may be attempting to seize political control and achieve undisputed world-wide dominance. A grave danger to us and to Otterball, though I fear that may just be the beginning of their true agenda..."

You: "...Seers, any new predictions?"

One of the lead Seers, a robed man named Inumoathrian, hands you a scroll.
"One of our latest, though I cannot say exactly what it means..."

You open the scroll and read the writing aloud:
Quote
"The Dragon clerics roam the coast as the Great Spider spins a web across the land, entangling the Emerald Squirrel and her Ravens. The Otterball Guild must beware the Chaos Dragon's flame and seek the Stone of the Tides to awaken the Master."

You: "What is this talk about Dragons?"

Remius: "I believe the prediction may be referring to the recent rise of a Dragon Cult in the area, apparently resurging after a drake was sighted in the skies above the southern farmlands."

You: "That's ridiculous! There are no Dragons."

Remius: "No, but this new cult seems to believe otherwise. I've heard that some of them have taken up residence at the old abandoned Dragon temple along the coast, a few leagues away from the city, and that their leader is particularly fanatical..."

You: "What about this Stone of the Tides? Any idea what such a thing might be?"

Remius: "I'm not sure, the prophecy could be referring to a number of different artifacts all around the world, or perhaps not an artifact in the typical sense. I will need to do some research..."

You: "We need more specifics. And more predictions, if possible."

"About that, one of my men has located a new Seer in West Bredmark that we could possibly employ. The Seer seems rather new, and may not even know that they are a Seer yet." Says Oswald Hinterbrow, the Order's Chief of Recruitment.

You: "Good. Keep me updated on that. We need all the help we can get. How are the Alocene stores?"

Felisa: "We're running a bit low, but our overseas shipment should be arriving soon."

Remius: "I should mention, there's been some troubling rumors about the rulers of the city being bribed or blackmailed, possibly going as far up the chain of command as Lord Kromydun himself. What it's about, I'm not yet sure, but hopefully it doesn't interfere with any of our undertakings."

Felisa: "Hmm, I've not spoken to Lord Kromydun in a while now, but I've heard similar rumors from our allies in other parts of the Empire, most notably West Bredmark and the Feiterlands. In fact, my communication with Lord Myrezio of the Feiterlands just recently halted. It's possible that someone just made a very well timed political move..."

You: "That is troubling indeed, especially with everything else going on..."

You take a deep breath as you deliberate the numerous situations.

You: "Okay, so... a possible traitor amongst our high ranking officers who is secretly reporting to the Cult of the Seething Spider.
A missing vice-chair.
An imprisoned cultist who insists that they aren't a cultist.
A prophecy that warns of Dragons, and to seek a certain 'Stone of the Tides'.
Rumors of the city's rulers being bribed or blackmailed, and similar rumors in other places in the Empire.

...What shall we do about all this, and how shall we proceed with our continuing struggle against the Cult of the Seething Spider?..."

At the moment, there is too little evidence for this, for all we know this could all be a ploy to split the council apart.
The Chief of Security will have to assemble a team to investigate the matter further.

The possibility of the missing attendee would certainly implicate them as a suspect
As previously stated however, there is not enough evidence for this. The investigatory team will have to find evidence for or against this possibility.

Kent Oddfox have made your job difficult in the past as you were climbing the ranks.
But they as Chief of Security, were merely doing your job at the time, and you trust them to continue to do just that. They are the least likely subject of plotting against the council.

You: It can't have been one of the guards, we pay them all to spy on each other, and if any one of them had anything iffy going on, we'd have six people telling us about it...

Your Thoughts: It might be Felisa or Lynn... Felisa is a sort of chessmaster, manipulating the events within the city's black market to keep our goals intact... If she was bribed, we probably wouldn't find out about it... But she has been extremely loyal to the guild for most, if not all of her time in office, since she finds more worth in being a manipulative bastard than money, and anything bad happened, she'd be out of a job... Still...
Then there's Lynn, and Remius, I suppose. Lynn keeps things about his life extremely quiet and private, so anything could be happening with him... And I've never entirely trusted Remius, though now that I think of it, if he were to lose his job and be left on the streets, he has a lot of enemies who'd love to get the kill first... He can't really afford to have Anything bad happen to the guild... Though that might be grounds to bribe him to prevent his job loss if... AAAAH! Why does this need to be this complex...

Before you can think of anything more, a guard bursts into the room.
Sir! There is a detatchment of about 70 Imperial troops coming this way! They know that this meeting is on! You all need to get to the tunnels before they get here!

Thought: Shit.

You consider who the spy might be...

You: "Regarding the spy, it can't have been one of the guards; we pay them all to spy on each other, and if any one of them had anything iffy going on, we'd have six people telling us about it..."

At the moment, there seems to be too little evidence to pin much suspicion on anyone; for all you know this could all be a ploy to split the council apart.

You look to the Chief of Security, Kent Oddfox, who has a stern and thoughtful expression. Kent made your job difficult in the past as you were climbing the ranks. But they as Chief of Security, were merely doing their job at the time, and you trust them to continue to do just that. They are the least likely suspect of plotting against the council.

You: "Kent, please assemble a team after the meeting to investigate the matter further."

Kent: "Roger that."

You look over to the missing seat where the vice-chairman should be. Their absence would certainly implicate them as a suspect, but as previously stated, there is not enough evidence for this. The investigatory team will have to find evidence for or against this possibility.

It could also be Felisa or Lynn...

You glance at Felisa, who looks smug and completely relaxed, as usual.

You look to Lynn, who seems a bit nervous and timid, but that's fairly normal for her.

Lynn keeps things about her life extremely quiet and private, so anything could be happening with her...

You look to Remius, catching him with shifty eyes.

I've never entirely trusted Remius, though now that I think of it, if he were to lose his job and be left on the streets, he has a lot of enemies who'd love to get the kill first... He can't really afford to have Anything bad happen to the guild... Though that might be grounds to bribe him to prevent his job loss if... AAAAH! Why does this need to be this complex...

Before you can think of anything more, a guard bursts into the room.
"Sir! There is a detatchment of about 70 Imperial troops coming this way! They know that this meeting is on! You all need to get to the tunnels before they get here!"

Shit.

Oswald: "How did the Imperial Army find out about this meeting!?"

Lilus: "And what do they want!?"

Remius: "I don't think we should stick around to find out..."

You: "...To the tunnels then."

As everyone hurries out of the meeting room towards the secret passage, Lilus suddenly halts.
Lilus: "Wait, I need to fetch our documents! We can't allow them to get into someone else's hands!"

Panicced, he then hurries off towards the files room.

Guard: "But they're going to be here any moment!"

Remius: "We can't afford to wait for him. Lilus knows the way, let's keep moving."

You hesitantly nod, and the group continues making their way to the tunnels.

Heading through the secret passage, the group then travels down several flights of stairs...

Reaching the tunnel entrance, you enter and look around the dark, torch-lit passages that stretch on for some distance.

Felisa: "Ugh, gotta say, traveling around in these dusty caverns, definitely not a perk of being a sacred protector of Otterball."

Inumo'athrian: "The air smells of mystery and intrigue..."

Remius: "These passages were built by past members of the Order, centuries ago. Though we frequent them occasionally, there are likely many paths and crevices unknown to us. We should be careful and stick together."

You have a flashback from a few years ago, when the Order was dealing with a different threat, a group called the Invokers of the Apocalypse. You remember getting lost within these labyrinthine walls, and it was ultimately Kent who found you and led you out. Apparently, the Invokers had kidnapped the Order's Chairman at that time, but they did not know of the tunnels below, allowing you, Kent, and his security team to successfully route the Invokers and save the Chairman.

Kent: "Let's get moving."

The group travels deeper into the tunnels, eventually reaching a room with a large statue of an Otterball player and a few connecting passageways.

The group takes a brief rest as Kent inspects each of the paths.

Kent: "These paths can lead to a variety of destinations, including the docks, the beach caves, an alleyway in a residential area, the basement of the Otterball Activity Center, or deeper into the tunnels..."

A complete stranger walks by from the north towards the south, casually greeting the group.

Stranger: "Hello mates."

The stranger is then gone before anyone is able to react.

Oswald: "Who the bloody hell was that!?"

Everyone looks confusedly at each other.

Remius: "Maybe he had something to do with how the Empire found out about our meeting?"
Oswald: "An Imperial spy! Or maybe a cultist!"
Felisa: "Perhaps we should follow him and find out."
Lynn: "But what if it's a trap!?"
Kent: "Whoever it is, they apparently know these tunnels quite well. It's risky, but so is our current situation, regardless of what we do."

You hesitantly nod, as the group regathers itself and continues toward the south passage, following after the stranger.

The group soon reaches an intersection.

Oswald: "Uh, which way now?"
Kent: "Hmm..."
