Starkey watches the couple from the sidelines. As he sits, he notices another: Lieutenant Otik.

"They're cute, sir."

"Aye, Lieutenant, that they are."

"Y'look happy, sir."

"Aye, Lieutenant, that I am."

"Too happy, sir."

"I wouldn't put it that way..."

"Jealous, sir?"

"No..."

"Permission t'speak freely, sir?"

"Go ahead, Lieutenant."

"Yer lyin', sir."

"...Yes, Lieutenant."

*sigh*, "C'mon sir, I'll let ye give me a belly rub."

"...That would be highly inappropriate, Lieutenant."

"Uh-huh. Yer room r'mine, sir?"

He thinks for a moment.

*sigh*, "Mine."

They trot off together.

D'aww, you fixed Friesden.  Now I feel all fuzzy inside.  I was certain Dsarker was going to get her executed, but I'm pleasantly surprised.  If I wasn't so slammed with 1000 other things to do right now, I'd illustrate that Khenal / Friesden picture.  Although my pony style is a bit off from the cartoon.

Screaming can be heard from Psycho Carrot's room. The door to the room flies out into the hallway and shatters to dust. Psycho, now covered head to toe in blood, trots happily out of the room, with an psychopathic-mass-murderer-kind-of-smile on his face.
((I don't even have to bring Cockroach back to make Psycho insane! After all, I took the madman's oath! AND NO, YOU CAN NEVER HAVE A DAY WITHOUT INSANITY!))

As I bask in everything Friesden, I realize something.  One of my senses has been woefully ignored: Taste. 

'Well, I know how to fix that.'

I smile before positioning my face in front of hers, slowly leaning forward to...

...Be interrupted by a not-so-subtle cough from behind.  One of the hospital guards is standing behind us, looking like he's been trying to get my attention for a while now.  I give him a glare as he asks  "Uh, sir?  What are you doing?"

"I'm enjoying the company of the most beautiful pony I've ever known.  Or I was, until you..."

The guardspony cuts me off.  "You're, uh, kinda making a scene, sir..."

Before I can tell the guardspony precisely how little I care about making a scene, the sound of Carrot's door exploding echoes down the halls.

Friesden's eyes open wide in surprise, and she looks away from Khenal.

"What was that noise?"

"HERE'S PSYCHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Screams Carrot, echoing the scream throughout the ENTIRE fortress.

'Not good!'  I point a wing at the guard who interrupted me.

"Get Commander Starkey!  I don't think Carrot is going to be very reasonable this time!"

I then point a hoof at the other hospital guard.

"Gather the Guard!  I'm sure you'll be able to find me!"

My expression softens as I look at Friesden.

"I'm sorry, my love, but it looks like duty calls me.  Go to Thunder Splinter's tower, alert the Skyguard there and don't leave."

I give her one more nuzzle before standing.

"I need to go...'talk' with Carrot."

The closer guard tosses me his spear as I dash towards the stairwell and Psycho.

Friesden hurries to the Tower to alert the Skyguard.

Psycho is holding Kil's head in his mouth, leaving a trail of blood in his wake. He hear footsteps and throws Kil's head in the direction of it, while at the time grabbing a sword from his hilt that he clearly stole.
