Don't Never DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES place a kill order on a merchant of ANY race, EVER!!!!!!!!!! It will NOT be pretty, especially with elves.

Really? I usually under-equip my starting seven in return for more exotic animals and instead rely on the first elven caravan for cloth, thread and other tertiary needs.

I just jack up the points available by editing the worldgen.txt file directly, and then generating a world from the modified parameters.

But that removes my own justification for killing the Elves. I will not be held responsioble for killing them "cause I could". I much prefer a pretext.
