They're religious leaders and they tend to get really strange names.

Also, thanks for the nightmares you son of an elf.

My latest world has the high stench of the Mucous Coven, the holy jail of the Order of Good, and the high mother of the Order of Insights among others that are less funny.  Isi Godlykingdom is the high mother, and he's a male.

Maybe that the dwarves never died and everyone is just shunning them.

I once had an entire human civilization that worshipped Torture and... Suicide? Because of this they all had names like "High Murder" and "Exalted Vomit" and so on. They were also lead by a serpent man law-giver who, surprise surprise, was also a vampire.
Needless to say, once I found this out I helped them with their worship of torture and suicide. I let them kill themselves by running into my axe with their neck.

I've got a world up on DFFD where everyone worships lust :P is the second age of goblins iirc, so all the more... carnal desires are being worshipped.

Also, thanks for the nightmares you son of an elf.

Don't be scared, every time I see him I just giggle at the monster's poor grammar skills ;)

One of my worlds had a priest who was like

"The servant of murder greets you."

I once met an alcoholic noble:

"This servant of Uzo greets you."

I'm going to do the smart thing here and disengage. This isn't a hill I paticularly care to die on.

I once had a dwarven male pregnancy god.

He was the god of pregnancy.  His appearance has nothing to do w/his function.  In fact, as a male god...  yea he was probably the giver of life...and, erm... yea.

I had a priest of a pregnancy god tell my (male) adevnturer to "consider pregnancy" as a farewell. That was a weird town.

Generally, when one is conducting an experiment, it is worth noting that the observers went insane, killed each other, and then rose from the dead.
