Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

Just got back here, and stared at the map. I am really good at getting late.

Spoiler: Revised map (click to show/hide)

Blade, I spotted a couple of flaws in you plan, highlighted in a red circle. These are gaps that the enemy can bypass the defenses and strike at the temple itself unharrassed.

Oh yeah, and Daniel should come with Greglotte wherever we go. He gets +10 Crt and +1 Dam from that support, plus other boosts.

For whatever reason, I can't see the image.

In any case, the only ways I see for the enemy to reach the temple are from the west (and technically the northwest if the try going around the house. Gregor and Charlotte would remain there and still be quite capable of crit/perforating them if they try that approach), south, where a lot of our fighters would funnel through in my hypothetical plan), and southeast, which presents the same difficulties to the enemy as the south approach. Unless enemies spawn at the top of the map for some reason, but that would make no sense.

Couldn't hurt.

EDIT: Haha, realized I didn't utilize either of our new units in my battle plan.

YAAAAAAAA-

Shit. My portrait isn't done. :<
I love how my battle sprite even has a cute little hat though.

Anyway, I say we all go south. The temple guards can hold out against Morko and a lone spearman at least long enough for some of us to scurry back and help if necessary.

They need to introduce themselves first.
HINT HINT IRONY OWL AND CULISE

Anyway, Gregor's got bonuses from standing still and from supports. Since Charlotte's his only support, he'll go wherever she goes, with Daniel along in tow (assuming he's still here). The three of them should be able to hold most any chokepoint provided they remember to heal.

We don't necessarily need to hold every single pathway. With Alexander, two swordsmen, and the two NPCs at the temple, they're a pretty solid defense. We'll visit every house we can (especially the Inn; I've got a good feeling about that one), but no point throwing our lives away pushing through the thickest enemy forces.

It's likely that enemy reinforcements will show up, so the southernmost houses will probably be out of reach unless Seyena makes a dash for them. Actually, that's a good idea; no bow users down there yet.

Do we get fancy prizes if we enter the villages, like in the games?

Also, there's a weapons guy and a shop down there, they might have some really nice goodies.

I think the money is handled in an FE4 style. AKA on a per character basis.

Also, did anyone remeber to take the money off of Adrien? :P

You're carrying a whopping four items though, would you be able to hold anything from the houses/shops?

So. My attempts at a portrait weren't quite working out, so I ended up stealing most of the colors from them and recoloring the one Culise gave me.

Creative processes are strange sometimes. :I

She can trade with Tantallos or Valor or something first. I think they only have one or two items each.
