Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

Lets hope for another crit.
Probably not possible. Your Crit is 4, Morko's DG is 6. Just hope that he doesn't hit you twice :P

His hit and spd are pretty high even with carrion. ;_;
Put it this way: If we were in one of the video game and trainee classes weren't a thing, Morko would be double our level. He's severely OP for any one of us.

Er actually... I'd have a fairly good chance of killing him in one round if I get healed to full health. Assuming of course that you guys don't whittle his health down to the point that it becomes moot by the time I get there.

Or you could just blindly join the dogpile.

Yeah Derick with Shamsir is basically game-breaker if he hits :P

In case you wonder I'm on different PC so while I can forums, I can't update anything :P

I feel like there will be some kind of cosmic payback for all the steamrolling we've done this chapter. Like, on the final chapter, instead of using the most powerful enemy he can make from the handbook, Haspen will custom-design an elaborate and appropriately cinematic puzzle boss who can doublecast Sleep and Poison at the same time.

EDIT: Don't worry about update speed Haspen. If I was running this, we'd get three updates in one day then I'd disappear for a week.

I'm honored that you think we're so similar.

I predict something akin to enemies with higher luck, or the increase or decrease of crit weapons.

Or the creation of a new item the boss can have, which gives an effect that halves crit damage against him.

Or who knows, really. Could gain a reputation from the rapid-fire crit deaths that could result in something either positive, negative, or both.

The scary part is it's entirely possible that we could have been the ones sacking the town. And we would have won.

Big thing I love about these kind of games, you can go in pretty much any direction GM willing.

A three-way brawl between two sacking armies and the town guard would have been awesome.

But this way, we prove ourselves worthy in the eyes of the temple dudes, and maybe we can get the Dragonstone (or further clues) without any more trouble.

Oh wait, we have Haspen as a GM. Never mind :P

@Irony: Let D-Mob educate you. (You only need to watch about twenty, twenty five seconds of the video, it's the only relevant part. :P)

I had a funny mental image of Gregor and Chris shouting at each other down the street, and Morko standing in the middle just kinda listening to the conversation in bemusement :P
