I kinda hope Irony sticks with the current avatar, though. I'm so used to Fran that if I saw something else under 'IronyOwl' I would be mildly disturbed. O.o

This is why I never change it. There have been a few times I've been tempted to, but I think I'm too solidly Fran to suddenly be something else.
