Dwellers of Murderwheel have found themselves locked in once again. As the siege raged outside they have learned that this was not the same tribe that accosted them earlier. This one did not want a battle for battle’s sake; they wanted something much different and only three dwarves knew what it was: Kitten Buiscit, Plump Helmet and Solymr.

Rasuk Id was a very interesting weapon. As Gar spent more and more time with it he noticed that the weapon had emitted warmth, like a living being.

‘This is not going to work, Flame.’ Gar said. ‘We do not have nearly enough weapons, armor or even time to train them!’
‘You of all of us should not complain about it, you will be up in the ramparts, next to Crossbows.’ Flame answered.
‘Still, this is not a good idea.’ Mumbled Gar.
‘Anyway, we have only few volunteers, we need to wait ‘til enemy forces suffer some more attrition. This should give us time for a basic training.’ Tasrak concluded the discussion.

To some disappointment of overeager recruits the siege has dissolved soon after the basic training was done. Gates were open once again and life has proceeded as normal, for a time anyway.
At one point, when Limpy was helping to scavenge, the alarm was called. A Kobold ambush has leaped from undergrowth slaughtering several civilians and trapping most of the recruits. In the confusion Limpy tried to save a child and was struck by a sword, deeply cutting his thigh.
On a top of the fort Gar was using his bow to lower numbers militia had to deal with. It made no difference, Murderwheel was put in the lockdown once again, this time with Kobolds at its gate. It was rather embarrassing, really.

‘We are sorry, there is nothing we can do to help you.’ Said Flame.
‘Oh, don’t worry about that. Shit happens. Could you pass me some of that paper works? Better do it when I still can.’ Responded Limpy with unforced smile.
‘Rest well, brother, I will do my best to pray for you.’ Sumyunguy exclaimed softly.
To the surprise of everyone in the room Limpy answered by saying: ‘Believe me or not, Sumyunguy, but it is appreciated.’ Unluckily the prayer had no effect and Limpy passed away few days later, with smile on his face, quill in his hand and paperwork on his lap.
In a light of the recent events Danger Room has been constructed. It is yet to be linked to a lever. Litheme’s project was now handled by Zurko, who has decided for a single-spear based design, with slower but more reliable training.
As the time went on the goblins have chased the kobolds away and teh supplies of the fortress have dwindled. Soil became unfertile, prepared meals have disappeared and the mood has plummeted. Kitten Biscuit has decided to retreat, until the fort has been stabilized or reclaimed that is.

Red was running through the corridor, fleeing from an insane being.
‘Get away from me, you little son-of-a-goblin!’ She yelled as her assailant has started to close the gap between them. With a lucky kick to the teeth she managed to stall the berserk child until guards arrived.
