I will make a little video series that should highlight how I develop the fortress! It is called "A Year in Murderwheel" and you can find it HERE! For now there is only a pilot there but I plan on recording the whole year, with my wonderful, monotoned commentary over it! And no, I cannot do anything about video quality, my current PC is extremely crappy!

If you are curious how much messed up my head is, or you just want to efficiently bore someone to death with my voice (it is my real accent btw. get used to it), do check it out! If you do not subscribe and like your dwarf will die in a suspicious accident! I may cancel the series! If you like my horrible creations I may make a full-on let's play series!

'Any chance of saving her?' Flame asked. Crossbowdwarves were using crosbows made by Red exclusively by now, he did not want to lose crossbowmaker this talented.

'Afraid there is no point even trying, Sir.' Chief Medical Dwarf said. 'Seems she has gone a bit nutty, if you know what I mean.'

'I am NOT mad! It really happened! Why isn't anyone believing me?' Red shouted. 'I was attacked by an assassin! A dwarven assassin, I swear!'

'Sure you were, honey, now go back to sleep.' Nurse interjected and knocked her out gently with a copper mace.

Few miles away an assassin was on the run. He did not manage to kill his target but from what he heard about Murderwheel health care system he could be sure that she will not live that much longer. He run back to mountain homes to report to his masters, Urist and Sons Crossbow and Munition Company, that another competitor has been removed.

Yeah, I know... But still, it would be a shame if Red would die such a stupid death as "falling down some stairs".

'I beg your pardon?' Flame was confused a little by what he heard. It was not much later after he spoke with the doctors.

'I have gathered a group of Faithful volunteers, we wish to test the Danger Room.' Sumyunguy has repeated.

'Ok, how many of you are there? Danger Room is half finished so I guess we could make a proof of concept run in it.'

'Seven, Sir.' The priest seemed elated. 'All are worshipers of our Lord, we wish to show our commitment to him and bring the battle to his enemies!'

'Very well, just try not to drown anyone.' Flame was getting seriously tired of all this mess.

Red have fallen from the stairs and broke his arm. That's too stupid to suspect someone's intervention, but Red insists that was an assasin.

The Danger Room is almost ready, and Sumyunguy wants to test it with the group of his adepts. I have to examine it before their test run.

Rasuk Id is warm and comfortable, and I didn't want to leave it alone for the night, so I got a habit to take it into my bed. And since that I do not have any nightmares anymore, I see Litheme instead! It was so sad to wake up alone...

BTW, what's about that artifact floodgate that's image is on the Gar's bow? When was it made and where it is now?

I forgot to mention it, it is an uninteresting artifact overall but i placed it in the middle of the temple as an altar.

Carvans being "magically" flooded. What a strange thing. I suspect the involvement of someone else, outside this fortress, though I am still investigating how that happened. One theory i have is the snow melter, but that's absolutely ridiculous. there is absolutely no snow in there to melt, much less magma to melt it. Another thing, assassins. Either that, or Red has gone nuts.

PS. Its ZURKO not CHURKO. I heard someone pronouncing it like that earlier today in the dining room.

.... Even though Armok holds a title of most bloodthirsty entity in entire Multiverse there is a being even he avoids angering. Her names are many and varied, most civilizations, goblin, elven, human and dwarven have their own names for Her. She has many beings as Her servants, both demons and angels, and She uses them indiscriminately. And just like Entity of Love has many aspects, both positive and negative (love and lust, envy and contentment) and as Armok has both vile and pure faces (rage and pride, wroth and valor, war and glory), She also holds dominion over both negative and positive, in much bigger harmony than others for She personifies both Misery and Mercy, as in Death all mortal pain vanishes, Decay and Growth, as on the ashes and corpses of old worlds new civilizations will grow, taking nourishment from the soil created by degeneration. For every End means a New Beginning.

Lots of cultures have that interpretation of death and you used what I thought was a spanish idiom...
Also I checked you local time and it was -5 GMT

Also, only the gender is taken from Polish culture, rest of it is amalgamation of D&D Planescape, some Mythologies I cannot recall now and even partially alchemical believes ("No generation without Corruption" thing)

I've been watching your videos and your voice is so low I can't hear you. Other than that your english is good.
I thought a dwarf fortress player would be more ham.

EDIT: I just ha an idea to solve Gar's lack of ammo. Capture an elf in a cage and «interrogate» it for knowledge to make arrows and mod in some arrows of your own.
