There is no Duchess.

"Visit Juliana, Duchess Ursul."

Unless Duchess is her name or something, yes there is.
...

Perhaps because I'm accustomed to getting my information from the floorplan directly, it didn't really occur to me that people would ignore it and my commentary entirely and just look at the assembled tooltips. Thus, I didn't think there'd be any particular problem using a version with options not currently available, so long as I had the new option(s) highlighted on the floorplan as well.

That said, I also would have expected you to double-check more than one place when receiving contradictory information. As both the floorplan and my comments imply, neither visiting the Duchess nor visiting Father are available this time.

...I actually remember reading the comments and going "Oh, so we can't visit these two people." I guess I read it, then reread the map to see where to go and forgot about the comments.

Treasury!

As for the guards not showing up in time, I knew that was going to happen, hence why I didn't vote for it.  Not because I know anything about this game, but because "calling the guards" when you see something suspicious never works in any game (unless it's a false alarm, then the guards work just fine).

Is it one of those things where it tempts you with the mysterious three ? symbols but then turns you away or something boring?

Visiting the treasury sounds like suicide since we have no idea what kind of skill checks to expect.
But visiting the treasury seems to be the only way to determine what kind of skill check to expect.

Or are we not infiltrating and just, as they say ,"casing the place"?

Conundrum.

I just sort of love the image created when you think about the Princess going to the treasury inside her own castle and somehow getting killed.

It is like her castle is the one from Clocktower.

Daddy said not to go.

Don't make daddy mad.

You don't want to make daddy mad.

So, let's go to court and actually do something useful!

Another vote for breaking into the treasury. It is our destiny to become a feudal defender of love and justice who rains flaming death on all foemen.

Oh, and this LP was what informed me of the existence of this game as well as convinced me to buy it.
