I don't know if we never got an answer, or if I just wasn't paying attention; but can we communicate without face to face talking, or do we have to RP not knowing stuff until we have plausible confirmation that we know what's going on?

I've never asked (and won't this turn, as I'm already asking a question), but I think it's the former.  If it is isn't, Piecewise really needs to make that explicit, as I highly doubt other cabals will respect an unstated rule.

As per beaming info, we'll assume its shared for the most part. However, certain info, like say your base being attacked or something critical that you'd have no knowledge of, has to be played like you don't know it. You can pass that info along if you want.

Egan, you may want to put that in the third post sometime.  Not immediately though, a perceptive individual in FIST might be able to connect the fact that we asked about beaming information at the same time as encountering another player, which might tip them off that they encountered a member of ZZ.  Currently, they don't know who they encountered, though sadly they're assuming he's hostile.
