Meanwhile, as Lizzy listens to the lesson, her mind does what the minds of most students do during a long lecture or something similar: she begins to daydream. In her particular case, she seems to be imagining outfits for her to wear once she becomes a fully-fledged superhero, as well as just a few gadget concepts that sort of popped into her brain. In addition to all that, she also considers things she should do with her friends here, later on.

Said book slamming startles her, as she lets out a brief 'Eep!' noise, focusing all her attention now on the lesson itself.
She considers inspecting the book for a moment, but decides to wait a bit, until, you know, the class is over.
