Shrapnel from tank fire. You'll be fine for next mission though.

Mission 2: why not both?

You are required to take an enemy-held U-boat facility with a naval task force, hold out until you receive large amounts of reinforcements, then fight off a much larger land-and-sea invasion.

Spoiler: Map (click to show/hide)

Initial scout reports [3] only managed to scout out the front of the base due to enemy patrols. [4]They are aware of a high-profile artillery battery, however.

Spoiler: Front of base (click to show/hide)

((I'm changing budget so it is global, for simplicity's sake))

Budget for naval invasion is 750R, ground reinforcements is 4000R.

Recommended that the naval invasion is fairly low profile, as artillery and amphibious tanks will make short work of any heavy landing craft. Ground reinforcements, however, can be as heavy as required. Full arsenal is available for requisition.

Oh hey I survived?! I thought I was a goner w/ the staying behind...or did that 1 = me pulling a sir robin?

:|
The amphib tanks are just chilling out in the water?
:|
ok
Well, that small beach to the south looks nice, and then my primary goal would be disabling the land-facing defenses from behind. Then I'd call in our reinforcements and gollywop the rest of the base from their behind. before setting up naval-facing defenses of our own.
If we sink the fish-tanks do they disappear or do they create submerged obstacles?

Question: Are ground assets waiting outside the map edge facing away from the sea, or are they waiting on ships on the seaward side?

Maybe I can use stealth and my sniping skills on this mission to be like a precursor Navy SEAL. Except German.

HEY! Think we could each get a kill-count? However will we compare our K/Ds without kill-counts?
DAMNIT SMURFINGTON, WE MOVED ONTO THE NEXT MISSION WITHOUT KILLCOUNTS?! UNACCEPTABLE!
THIS WAS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY!

Uh, who's the general this time? There's no point posting shopping lists yet if we're moving to a shared "account".

If the artillery doesn't thump you.

The fish-tanks will block anything in shallow water.

Question: Are ground assets waiting outside the map edge facing away from the sea, or are they waiting on ships on the seaward side?

Ground assets will come from the north once the base is taken.

That would take eons to do. EONS

Well, to sum up the first bit:

Snipers: 10 infantry
Pak 40: fuel truck
Mines/satchel charges: everything else

Uh, who's the general this time? There's no point posting shopping lists yet if we're moving to a shared "account".

You are.
