Well, fighting didn't work, Not fighting isn't working, naturally, so it is a particular type of fighting, continuing to fight him even after he one shots you instantly, or Beating him, which according to San isn't the goal.

Dackly is Role-locked into fighting him again, but from what I have seen so far there isn't even a point until San arbitrarily decides someone stumbled onto the solution to this puzzle fight.
