Okay firstly, I don't think Alanis has any qualifications (and not just knowledge and skill, Motya's lab is probably designed around their physiology, I mean, try using equipment meant for someone with four arms; hell some of it might even need to interface with their modifications or be analyzed through their senses). Secondly I don't think OH&S is something Motya has much concern about. Thirdly, there is no guarantee that anything Alanis thinks will work would actually work considering that it is entirely possible that Motya's lab, equipment and world function quite different from hers, meaning that even if she somehow had access to a 100% perfect biology simulator, it may not be remotely accurate, and that's assuming it even knows everything there is to know. Plus even if she had access to a way to perfectly simulate that, she'd likely be stuck trying to brute force something vaguely functional. I mean, genetics and epigenetics don't exactly code features directly after all.

Depends on whether the bolded text is just flavor or an actual mechanical statement. Judging by what Project said, it sort of sounds like it's meant to be just flavor and mechanically, it just alters her next attack.

You may want to put the flavor text in italics, or the actual mechanical effects in bold. That helps prevent people mixing it up in the future. Because if it weren't for the context, I too would have likely thought it was a combined counterattack and attack alteration.
