The wizard would already be in mid-cast, and set eirika ablaze briefly with the fire-imbued life beam. It would tingle slightly, and burn off the grease, but even so it's really too hot. The wizard would be conjuring some water elements to put her out.

they would add a life element for good measure,and spray the bubble that suddenly appeared around it. It seems to be filling with water rather rapidly as the confused mage is trapped inside.
