USA has managed that. Europe should be able to do that, as well. Otherwise, we would have to agree that Europe is somehow inferior to USA in conversion ability, and I know the resident "nationalists" won't accept that.
Assuming that Europe had not done her best to destroy her national identities, that Europe was isolated from the rest of the world as the USA is, and that the rate of migration to Europe was not so high as to render assimilation a process in the reverse - We cannot make patriots out of Europeans, you ask us to make patriots out of migrants too?
Really, if Russia was behaving like modern "nationalists" say their countries should behave (i.e. maximize the percentage of "your own culture" at all costs, including shutting down the borders and throwing all "other" people out, in order to "preserve" and "defend" it against the Enemy, i.e. Muslim hordes) throughout the history, our territory, population and, ironically, culture baggage would be, like, 90% smaller.
Aye, yet your nation is clever in its cultural enrichment in that it maintains unity between people of shared history, morals and civilization. It is like the difference between Britain taking in migrants from the Commonwealth or from Sweden, only taking it by the millions with people who have no ties at all with their country of destination. The British had been more successful in this regard even when its mass migration was only producing rape gangs and Londonistan, as the vast majority of Commonwealth migrants were contributing greatly (actual enrichment).
But modern European "nationalists" somehow think that their own little cultures are above being changed.

It is the traditional destination for all new migrants first arriving in London. Yet what these people want is not cultural exchange or cultural enrichment, but wholesale abandonment and destruction of all cultures. It's why they spend so much time attacking all the great old figures of literature, science, history, music, religion and politics for being old white men, and it's why they attack those figures today for being old white men. It's why they propagated this mentality to abandon your own culture and divorce yourself from your traditions to indulge yourself in whatever you fancy. They won't stop with Europeans, they want diversity for everyone, even in the most remote regions of the planet and they are more than happy to resort to the means they used on Europe to make one homogeneous mass of consumers without culture, tradition or identity. LW, you advocate giving up the fight on cultural/national identity grounds, as the battle is already lost and because the fight for survival is more important. I'm not so sure about this. If you talk to people about the clash of cultures, and the very real damage it is causing (Cologne NYE, Rotherham and the culture of silence, etc), then you have ample evidence for that that people can easily recognise for themselves. And regardless of action or inaction, lots of people have strong feelings about it, about how they would like their country to be for their children and their children's children. Simply put, it's an argument that will reach people.
If it can reach people, great. But if that message has no action with it it's pointless, a fight that will merely result in more loss.

As I look ahead, I am filled with foreboding. Like the Roman, I seem to see "the River Tiber foaming with much blood". That tragic and intractable phenomenon which we watch with horror on the other side of the Atlantic but which there is interwoven with the history and existence of the States itself, is coming upon us here by our own volition and our own neglect. Indeed, it has all but come. In numerical terms, it will be of American proportions long before the end of the century. Only resolute and urgent action will avert it even now. Whether there will be the public will to demand and obtain that action, I do not know. All I know is that to see, and not to speak, would be the great betrayal.
That was said 48 years ago at a time where 3/4 of Britain agreed with this speech, yet the man who said this was sacked and no one took any action of political significance, and what little action taken was unproductive thuggery. In today's Britain perhaps a political fight for national identity could take place, but it would have to be of the Commonwealth and through selective migration to economically benefit the UK. One of the great things about living in Londonistan is you meet many shekel wizards and one of them I met shekeled his way through both sides of the fence and kekeled at how irregardless of philosophy or politics, without cash no one can get anything done. This is the same principle, only with labour. It is notable that in the span of 50 years the British went from arguing over their highly disciplined work ethics not being upheld to migrants to the British arguing over the need for migrants and their highly disciplined work ethics not being upheld to the British. Grammar schools and trade schools will have to be brought back to make the British actually worth saving, on the level of cultural importance and of economic feasibility.
Don't wage a fight that's already lost, we are many decades much too late to preserve the cultures and identities of most European nations. Survival is a much more attainable goal, one everyone can get behind. Maybe also create a new national identity or merely rebrand the old one to have moral criteria, so moral Muslims and Yuropoors do not have to defend degenerates lel
Just consider for every rape gang there would've been at least two dozen Councillors, social service workers, sexual health workers, police officers, journalists and their managers covering it up. And who were these people? Some migrants probably, but the vast majority will have been Britons who were British and identified as British, and to them there would have been nothing less British than rejecting diversity, even if it meant covering up English children being used as sex slaves in the thousands.
Simply put, strong feelings are nothing more than feels. If our bid for independence fails as well, then things will get really complicated. For the likes of certain European nations like Belgium, Germany or Sweden, their decisions will be a great deal harder, and they were rarely ever in their hands to begin with. Alas, they are replaced now, but they still have a good half century to make good of it and ensure a cultural legacy, or a decade to sell all of their shit to die on a comfy island in the West. I do have another concern in fighting over national identity and culture, in that it can very quickly turn into this unproductive thuggery, where it does make the moral and righteous kill the moral and righteous.
By contrast, talking about a globalist agenda designed as... what, a long-term goal to re-enact Orwell's 1984? To destroy Europe? I'm not saying that it doesn't exist - there are certainly individual sociopaths with huge influence out there who are doing their part to make it happen (beyond those individuals and the self-abnegation that's become the latest fad/sickness among the chattering classes? I honestly don't know) - but it's not something people can see. It's not something they can even comprehend. Until you actually dig into this stuff, and I mean really dig, not spend five minutes looking at statistics about rape or read a PEW survey or whatever, then it just sounds like the usual indemonstrable conspiracy fluff.

Doesn't matter though, we Powell's Yurop, and people can very easily see the symptoms of failure even if they don't know who did it. Everyone knows of the financial crash or the multicultural experiment even if they don't know who to hold accountable, and both working Britons and Migrants did flock to the Tory banner under the message of not fucking this economy up or opening the door wide open, even if they don't understand what's being done (or why the Tories are fighting over the soul of their party).
Perhaps other stuff is more important than the preservation of our cultural and national identities at this point. But you won't reach people on those grounds. You yourself say that Europe doesn't act until its too late; perhaps the way to make people act about the thing it isn't too late for (survival) is to convince them they are acting for the thing that it IS too late for.
Consider how the Germans managed to move all of Germany towards opening the door for as many guest workers and refugees as possible, on the grounds that they were vital for Germany' survival. Didn't have to be true, Lord knows why they expected to use unskilled workers for skilled labour, but it was enough to motivate them - who opposed migration, into supporting it in numbers hitherto unseen in all of human history. Reaching people is of far less value than moving people to action, to work - to better themselves and their country. We will do far more benefit for our country by making it as wealthy and powerful as possible, the more it is the more our bid for independence can be maintained and the more control we will have over our dirt. With control over our dirt, whatever fights for culture and national identity can be had with relative ease and without battles leaving pen and paper for the sword. Most importantly we can repatriate gang rapists to rural backwaters, but we can't deport their far vaster support network to some Siberian backwater or Australian penal colony. Any battle over culture or national identity will naturally go against the intellectual elite on their home turf, with access to far vaster resources and political and international support on their side. Any battle over culture will either be won by them, or in time be re-appropriated and subverted by them. Survival is not their home turf, that is the realm of workers - inclusive of migrants. Consider how our left wing party betrayed the working class Britons in order to use migrants as their truncheon, yet they were abandoned by migrants who despised them for the goals they sought to achieve. Working Britons and Migrants united against the left-wing, whose support dwindled to the intellectual elite and bonkers Uni students, wholly dependent upon the people they despise for power. Why? Because not everyone shares the same national identity, shares the same culture, but all want to live in a Britain that prospers, and all want to prosper from it.
(Also do be aware, to never fight without an objective goal. Fighting for nebulous, mutable concepts as culture is almost certainly doomed to failure, as you will never know when you have won and will keep fighting until you have lost the ability to fight).
The Mongolslavs have the right idea, in that there is no point in a Russia that is Orthodox, Catholic, Sunni or whatever if it merely becomes like the West. Make a moral, functioning country that protects its independence, and eternally be vigilant over its external and internal threats, the rest will naturally follow.

My gripe is that we were never asked. My gripe is that we were told, not asked, and everyday we are told again and again how we are to be and how our country is to be. We are told by them, and we know who they are, they're English too. They are the class that has always set themselves apart, they are the class that has always taken what they wanted for themselves, and now they are the class that is giving England away.
See, that hits hard. Yet London is already given away to people like me. Can you touch the class that has always set themselves apart, held themselves above all England? For the most elite, the answer will be undoubtedly, no. And consider as well, it is no longer merely the intellectual elite who are proud to give England away, but all the urban intellectual youth of England who are proud to give England away.
I suppose it hits hard especially home as I live in Bermondsey, but I am not of it. I would like to see the English return but they are gone Covenant, and fighting to bring the extinct back is a waste of time that could be spent fighting for the living. Never forget that this migration is not an invasion because they were
invited. You can't win this battle over culture or national identity for as long as your culture and national identity is inclusive of those who hate it.
