Part of me wants to say D, as we have no bonus to warfare and it feels like we have been getting pretty damn lucky, but might as well press that luck. C

A city is indeed found worthy of conquest - Edain an Evel, with its fortified walls, large population and some regional wealth!

About a week later, your Army is surrounding the city.

Unfortunately, there are some unfortunate or outright disastrous news for you just as you unpack your bags - the Dahnians have been beaten! Their Crown Prince has been slain and his now heir-less father ran away with his bodyguard back north, with Cydwyl horsemen in hot pursuit.

A) And what of it? That's on the other side of the kingdom, we can besiege Edain an Evel anyways!
B) Oh, uh, then we better retreat and hole up in Ydwall!
C) Now is our chance! Let's run to their capital and finish what Dahnians started!

C. We don't have the option of running all the way back home, so any option makes it seems likely we have to face a Cydwyl host at some point. I think C is the best option for several good reasons.

1: We blew the gate off Ydwall, so that isn't the best place to hold up. We will likely face the same problem if we fight Edain an Evel to hold up there.

2: We might as well go all in here. This is as good a time as ever to risk it all. Even if we die and lose our army, our bloodline will likely survive and hold on to some degree of power. If Cydwyl marches south after destorying us, our wife and heir will likely receive aid from Salus Jr., who is scheduled to marry a daughter into our family and owes us one free intervention. Ceodwell may get involved as well, seeing an opprotunity to get the lands he wants from us while protecting his daughter and grandson.
