How fun is SPAMKINGDOM series?

Mind-bogglingly popular game series that you follow from early on and cannot stop, waiting for new installment like a drooling addict.
Long-runner soap opera you're too invested into to just stop watching it.
A fun little comic strip in the daily newspaper that's been around forever.
3/6
Who said it's fun? I didn't for sure.
I'm just waiting here for it to die horribly already so it will stop showing on my Unread Posts list.

A If they would really like to live in our land's they must be our subjects or at least don't try to screw us.

That's why they're losing close friends.

A

The idea of yearly tribute for this is an absolute deal breaker.

Yearly tribute, but they are paying us to guard the trade routes so it evens out.

and what makes you think it is permanent? We could break the deal at any time.

B We can always renegotiate, or tax the dwarves in our lands or call upon their services for a reduced rate.  It will be costly to set up, sure, but the investment will be worth it.  All reforms are expensive, and this could be the first step to learning dwarven industrial and magical might.

A, no they aren't, we're paying them for the privilege of guarding the trade routes.  It's a terrible deal and we'll be screwed over.  Dwarves are absolute pricks when it comes to the up-sell, and just like aggressive retail assistants you've just got to stick to the one thing you came for.

How are we suppose to undo or renegotiate the deal without breaking it to the point where we'll be cursed/war declared on? Give them back all their knowledge? Force the dwarves out of our kingdom? Shove any next generation dwarfs born in our lands back inside their mothers? The only way out of this deal once we sign it is a terrible war. Or potentially a terrible curse.

Yearly tribute, but they are paying us to guard the trade routes so it evens out.

Haspen, how much would the payment to our guards be worth? Certainly we'd know the terms before we sign, is it enough to pay off the tribute?

Also, how many army guys would we need to send out... Are we talking about a yearly decrease to our army size, or like, a one time thing?

It would cyclically even out, except the times when you won't be able to provide fresh guards for the routes.

But how much manpower are we talking about for the guards? Cuz if the deal is -1 army every year, that's still just as bad if not worse a deal then -1 economy every year.

Traditionally setting up guards for patrols meant a one time -1 army strength.

Like when there was a bandit problem and we needed to set up guys on the king's highway it cost one army strength one time.

Wouldn't it just be a one time -1 army, plus whenever something happens that would require replacement? Like, if a maurading army wipes out the guards, then we have to replace them once the army is dealt with.

This is true, but that's setting up patrols for ourselves within our own kingdom. This is selling troops out to others on far ranging missions to other countries. I'm not sure it'll work the same way.

Damn, ok.

It will even out. first year nothing happens cause we are going to war (or we can still receive 1 wealth and go to battle with 3 army. thinking that the felonsine won't be focusing their army on us, and exactly when the war starts other nations are going to jump on them it won't be a bad thing)

changing to B if they ask for something more that isn't in the contract we make them pay for it. Let's aim again for the multicultural nation dream.

let's hope we have nice rolls and that the rebels have nice rolls too. (or we have nice rolls and the rebels have a mildly defeat, worst case scenario we call Lametania and donut.)
