She puts the tablet away, staring at the fire the two Gargoyles are tending to. She looks like reflecting on many things right now.

"Generia seems like a large and wondrous place, doesn't it?"

Asuna stood up — anyone like herself was somebody that she was willing to hear out, that was for sure.

Rena guides them a little ways away from the fire to keep them out of earshot.

"Okay, so..."
"This is going to sound a LITTLE awkward, but...."
".....what do you think of Rosencrantz? I'm assuming you guys, like, know each other pretty well, so I wanted to know what you thought about him."

Yliss looks after Rena and Asuna as they walk away.

"Huh... I wonder..."
"Whatever they wanna talk about must have to do with their shared pain in accidentally looking like Kaisei waifus."

:"Oh. Rosencrantz? Uh, he’s pretty good on my book. Had his dipshit brother fuck off when said dipshit brother tried to kidnap me to get a reward from one of those fucked up cults and joined us instead, and he’s been friendly since, so, yeah, he’s a pretty good guy. Er, I’m guessing you know him then?"

Rena looks thoughtful for a minute about that.
"....I can't say I know him, no. Can I, uh, ask you something else?"
"Is he....uh....is he taken?"

:"Uhhhh... no, I don’t think he is taken. Heh, wow, this is rather quick, huh? I didn't know he was that charming."

"....do you know anyone who MIGHT be interested in him? He...uh....he really seems like a guy you could easily fall for, is all."
Inconsistencies are piling up here, and you can sense there's definitely something not right. Not about Rena, but about what she's said before.

Asuna had seen plenty of anime in her day, and now she was starting to get a little suspicious.
:"...uh, well, I think most of the party is single, so it could probably happen at some point. Are you sure you don’t know him? Do you know one of his brothers, maybe? John, I guess, since Guildenstern isn’t exactly enchanting."

Rena sinks.

"I-I do know Rosencrantz. I-In a way. Not personally. D-do you promise not to laugh at me or tell anyone if I tell you how?"

:"Uh... I promise I won’t tell anyone, and I guess I’m really not all that much of a laugher these days. What is it?"

"W-well, uh, I-I used to work at this noodle place back in Kaisei, a-and one of the regulars was an ex-girlfriend of Rosencrantz."
"She was always talking about how understanding he was a-as a boyfriend, h-how he didn't care that she looked like Raphtalia or that she was Revivian and was always nice. S-she was always saying that breaking up with him was something she only did because of his asswad of a brother. Said that he'd have to choose between him and living his own life a-and that she was always ready when he was ready to ditch Guildenstern."
"I-I, uh....I might've fallen for him just from her describing him. He just seemed so sweet from what Maya always described him as, a-and you know how it IS, with people always treating us like the people we look like and the attention we get that we don't like....s-so you can understand that s-someone like that would be my ideal boyfriend and I kinda wanted someone to talk to like that who wasn't my sister."
"When I, uh, got booted out of Kaisei, I-I kinda got lost as to what to do, s-so I, uh...I decided to go....find Rosencrantz."
"A-and when I found out he was heading up to Begnin, I-I kinda....decided to get there to meet him."
