High up in the cavern there was a wide ledge and on the ledge there was a goblin, chilling out right where I had created it. I activated the dwarf's squad, and he had just enough hang-time at the top of the flight arc to get a punch in. The goblin struck back but the dwarf jumped on to the ledge, where they continued to fight as the cart fell down into the darkness.

Oh man, somebody has to draw this latest devlog.     Shook, I'm looking at you.

Couldn't resist.

The dwarven version of Dynamic Entry is pretty epic. ^^^

I think it's the way towns develop now. In the beginning, people move into a town. Then they start producing tables, which results in more and more tables. Soon tables represent a significant portion of the population, they start lobbying for new laws and regulations, putting people to greater and greater disadvantage...

do you have any idea of how much more awesome that is while somewhat drunk?

hint: a lot

So basically awesome plus a lot of awesome equals... Actually I don't think it's possible to express that much awesome with any human language. At all. So thanks for making this day even more awesome. c:

(this place has INTERNETS, but I didn't bring a laptop, still intending to illustrate on Sunday)

After the reclaim failed, the mounainhome has sent a hero to deal with the cook.
So far, he's wandering the wilderness, drinking saltwater filtered through his clothes and has chewed halfway through a stack of alligator meat.
Sleeping on beaches to avoid the bogeys.

No sign of the fort yet.

No, but I can. You should have specifically disallowed mouse-drawn MS paint submissions. You'll learn for next time. The funny thing though, I read your post as "chicken" instead of "children" and I drew it that way. Only now that I'm quoting your message to reply have I realized my mistake. Oh, well...
