Haha :)

But yeah i almost always go for the feet first if the hit chance is good because it halves their moves.

I once massacred a town of like 40-60 by ankle kicking.

Shook, your mastery of the stick-figure drives me to manly tears.  I applaud you, good sir.

Foot-stomping remains a viable strategy for the homicidal adventurer, but I prefer lopping off hands.  They can be raised by a necromancer, instantly redistributing the odds in your favor.

Oh hands is not nearly as good due to fatal head kicks, better to slow em down.  Also bite off thumbs.

Also:

Saxo Ramwalls, Frog Woman adventurer.  She slays three mummies and numerous other creatures in the caverns but a giant rat bites her in the foot while she is afflicted with dizziness, fever, and nausea and then a small pack of them mobs her.  They could not slay her outright because of her steel body armor and gold helm but all of her limbs war crippled.  Unable to effectively bite back she passed out no less than five times.  She desperately tries to crawl away but can find no escape.  Finally she discovers a magma pool, crawling to the edge and pale from blood loss with blood streaming from all of her limbs she hurls herself into the void.  And thus she denys the giant rats the honor of slaying her.

I've played for years and never had an adv or fort mode dwarf ever get ice encased.

I've read this entire thread over the last few days (while waiting for my fortress dorfs to build things) and now I want to learn how to play adventures.

Shook's stuff is my favourite. It's the facial expressions.

You have no idea how much I hate that... I do all the work slicing off all of a Hydra's heads, broke its legs so it is harmless... then one little scratch and suddenly that peasant I hired becomes the hero of the century.

Just saw this thread, thought I'd give it a go. Kobold on a glacier.

Stick figures aren't a requirement are they? I checked the OP and it says nothing about it, but all the drawings seem to have them so far. It could just be a case of laziness/memeness, I just don't want to break the rule if it's there.

There's no rule, it's just that many of us prefer stick figures for one reason or another.  For me, it's because I have no artistic talent the jokes are more important, dammit! :P

Yeah, there have been some really impressive pictures posted here. Not sure where, but this thread is definitely worth reading through to find them.

Then there's the stick figures, which convey exceptional emotion with minimal effort. Or nine-dots (username:".........") work, which honestly I just can't figure out. I might be most certainly am just too stupid to grasp such concepts, though.
