So I guess this is nothing new, but it's still funny.  I lost it when the vampire accused me of bullying him.
On the one hand I like the tolerance people have towards friendly neighborhood vampires.  On the other hand I miss the old days when I could go around killing vampires without having to worry about people having a problem with it.
Did the game actually record you as exposing the vampire, as opposed to some random historical figure? If, so that's new to me.

The vampire was already exposed, his neighbor actually called him 'the vampire'.  They just...didn't care that he was a vampire.

Someone in a different town sent me to kill him (which is why I was in the town in the first place) but the people in his own town were okay with him.  I guess he killed some people and then fled to a new town but hadn't actually begun killing people there yet.

Will be nice when vampire purges make it out of worldgen. Joining a group of peasants as they spontaneously decide to lynch Urist McVampire the local fishmonger will be fun. Or just watching and singing about it later - that's fun too.

The real question is "can we accuse a random villager and incite a mob" and furthermore "is it possible to convince every single member of the town to lynch each other as a vampire until there is only one left".

Points if you are yourself a vampire, and reveal it ere the end.

My latest companion just got Muldoon'd by the thing I put in to replace dingoes. Not shown: The jungle foliage that probably contributed to his death.

I lose more crossbowmen that way. He will not be missed. Maybe some creatures are better left extinct.

They just lack any opinion about killing an enemy of their group or their entire civ. I ask about the reputation of a forgotten beast and they tell me it's a dangerous animal. I'd say so, it destroyed an entire city! If I tell them I killed it, I get apathetic response: "Oh, well that's not a megabeast, is it?"

this is very fixed in the new version.
You even become known as a beast hunter now.

Though you still became a hero in the old version.

I've really been enjoying playing as a brown recluse spider man. His first big fight with an ettin turned him into a legendary fighter and since then everything is turning up Millhouse. Well, except for that I can't find armor to fit him anywhere.

I wonder what will be his eventual demise...

The kid was kind of an asshole, to be honest.

But waiting an hour for a cup of booze? When the inns are really crowded I just take the barrel and leave without paying, because in GREAT COMMUNIST DWARF SOCIETY only stores own things, and taverns aren't stores. (You can get free money from stores by taking the shopkeepers' clothes from their dressers and selling it back to them. :v)
