Everyone is saying I'll be OK, but I don't know.  It seemed directed at me and Duke.

I'm going to lay low for a while.

Oh yeah.

Anyways, another Poem.
Trends of the Bay
There once was a forum named Bay Twelve.
In it, there were many who liked to delve.
In this place, a number of people dwelt.
They ALL loved to smelt.
They posted topics about dwarves,
And how they would like to have wharves.
Many wished for the addition of the wheel.
Some people get mad, but it's no big deal.
Flightless birds became a fad,
But honestly, are fads all that bad?
Soon after, there were many trends.
Most, however, had rather disappointing ends.
The green bands faded,
leaving the holdouts jaded.
The penguins became otherwise.
Some turned to mechanical lies.
But soon, these too would get bored.
And all of a sudden, everyone was floored.
All over the place were doppelgangers!
Fairly soon, everyone had gone bananers.

I keep getting tripped up on this. I'm not sure what the rhythm is supposed to be, so I keep trying to read it like a limerick and I stumble on every 5th line.

Page 20 spillover has been edited to include TNME's second piece, and I have also edited in Vester's second part to her first submission.

If we run out of room, I might have to move some posts from the second spillover to the third, so Vester can complete her short story. I hope it won't be more than 40'000 words.

Really awesome stuff guys.

There's a difference between words and characters.

Hope you guys like this - I was struck with inspiration at an ungodly hour, so that's my excuse if ya don't :P

It's more of a background than a story, by the way.

Criticism appreciated - that was far too much effort for 1300 words. Oh, and NEVER write in Notepad. Damn double lines...

EDIT1: Damnit. Is that better? Betcha there's more to come, too.

I haven't completed Armok's bizarre request yet. Fault has, though.

The point is that it all makes sense (it appears as a limerick, and it RHYMES.), but it never actually does.

Clever, eh?

I don't mean to be rude, but rhyming unfortunately does not equal cleverness. It's very awkwardly paced and, while I'm not an aficionado in this subject, very difficult to follow.

You misunderstand, good sir.

The point of the "Clever" Was how I made my poem describe Bay12 in the metaphorical as WELL as physical sense.

The lack of rhythm is intended. You THINK you understand, (limerick, rhymes, etc) but the poem (Bay12) always throws you off.

I assume everyone on the intertubes is male unless given reason to suspect otherwise. This is the first time i've seen anyone use a gender-specific pronoun in relation to you.

Also, there's no such thing as girls on the internets! [/Silly]
