I couldn't think of a better way to put this and don't really want any discussion of any sort until Bastard Paranormal is over, I just wanted this out to Meph and out publicly so we can discuss later.

I noticed Leafsnail make a comment on using modkills as extra lynches in Bastard Paranormal. Now of course this is unacceptable, but I'm not advocating punishment or warning or anything since I've done the same thing and Webadict has as well, I think. No, the usual way to dissuade this kind of behavior is simply to make modkilling a townie result in the day ending while modkilling a mafioso or dopp lets the day continue. The basic idea is to have modkills hurt the team of the player getting modkilled so nobody is tempted to use modkills to their advantage. I would suggest all mods use this rule or something like it in all their games.

I wouldn't go that far.  So far as I can tell, it was an honest suggestion from Leafsnail.  Similar to how everyone tried to game the system back when Paranormal had multiple lynches on ties.

For my games, if you get modkilled you'll flip like normal, the game will move on, and you won't play in another game I host.  Luckily it hasn't happened so far.

To be fair, it's like Lensfail said - in a Bastard Mod game, it's only natural to assume that some rules are meant to be abused.

We're back to 0 games in signups.  I'll go ahead and volunteer myself to host another- Kingmaker is pretty low maintenance for modding since I don't have to do vote counts.

What would people like to see?  I have a larger (13p) game I've got an idea going around for, I want to try Deep South at some point, I've got another idea that is flexible in terms of size (so it'd be a good choice for a smaller game), or I'm open to suggestion.

I'd like to see more people making use of the Open Games and Replacements Thread.  I swapped some stuff around so the subforums can run themselves, and it'd be cool to have some actual advertisement going on for what's happening :I

On the other hand, I think I can safely say the subforum has gotten back on its feet, even if it's moving a bit slowly nowadays.  Pretty good.
