Safety is by far the biggest problem. People get mugged on Table Mountain fairly regularly, although groups are almost always safe.

I don't think you'll find as many Afrikaners in Namibia as South Africa, since the Great Trek only went so far, but I'm reasonably sure it's safer. Honestly, it's very, very difficult to be more dangerous than South Africa.

No kidding. Johannesburg's crime rate is higher than Detroit's. Pietermaritzburg has the highest crime rate in the world, barring legitimate warzones.

Huh. Does it beat San Pedro Sulas? I would have called it the second safest place I've lived (Grahamstown wins).

I wouldn't be all that surprised if it did, though.

I think San Pedro Sula has the highest rate of murders... maybe it has less crime overall. Weird.

Well I mean it looks like it'll sit heavy, where-as the website cake looks like it's supposed to be light and fluffy.
