Nah man, there's 2 simple issues involved here.
1. I really don't care all that much with what I'm eating, as long as it keeps me alive.
2. When it comes to cooking, I'm one lazy unskilled bastard.
 


I can make tea!
Although once I did forget the teapot on the oven until all the water evaporated and its handle fell off.

EDIT:
Oh which reminds me. This one time I managed to forget a pot of rice in the oven until all the rice melted into a black crust that rendered the pot unusable.
Maybe I should stay out of the kitchen.

My attitudes regarding food are similar to, but not quite as bad as Nospherat's.  I have a tendency to forget about things or lose track of time enough to burn foods only moderately, and also tend not to care about what I eat, so long as it isn't absolute shit.  Good food is nice, but not the slightest bit important to me.  If I could live without eating I would.

I took alot of my chemistry lab conduct and use it in my kitchen.
Everything is measured and timed perfectly. If its not done right i slam my face into a wall out of pure disgrace.

I tend to cook with the general idea that if I screw up, I eat shitty food, which is no biggie.

That said, I'm told I make terriffic pancakes.

I can get the mixing ratios for ammonium chloride right so people dosent burn up from the inside/die from ammonium poisoning when they taste it.
