I'm actually about 4 days stubbly (which is about the point I like it best), but it just doesn't show in the picture.  I shave it clean every 5-6 days, because that's when it starts to look and feel too fuzzy and gross.  Been doing this for about a year now.  Turns out I like my hair to be either really long (at least shoulder length) or not at all.  Never been happy with anything in-between.

On the subject of cats, my roommate does maintenance at our apartment complex. He caught wind of an older lady who lives here, who had two cats which she was unable to take care of anymore. Since we've been thinking about getting pets (and my last roommate ran off with my old cats), he offered to adopt them. They're both half-siblings, fixed, have shots through the next 3 years, and we have all their medical records.
