Free word processor?
« on: July 01, 2010, 03:28:32 pm »

So, I'm doing a report when Microsoft starts being an asscake and not working. Any of you guys have alternatives you would recommend? I tried OpenOffice but it wouldn't let me install without pushing a hundred fucking products on me as part of the terms.

Did you even read what he posted?

Also doesn't some adobe program also give that option?

That last gobbo would stand there, missing an arm, punctured in a kidney, liver, and spleen, fading in and out of consciousness at the far end of where the drawbridge would go, and his last sight would be the drawbridge dropping down and smashing him like a bug.

God DAMN I love this game!

Ran into Abby Word a while back, can't say if it's safe or useful though.

Screw formatting!
.txt is all you need.

Except that .txt doesn't meet many of my needs, one of them being formatting.

So use wordpad.
It does support formatting.

I got zero offers installing OpenOffice. Did you try using the "Custom Installation" option instead of the default?

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I did default. It wanted me to get a different version of IE, a toolbar for it, Weatherbug, and all these other little things, and if I declined them it auto-canceled the installation.

That was probably the java run time and not open office itself, and other than the java run time trying to install the yahoo toolbar I haven't had any problems with junkware.

Where are you downloading it from? I downloaded and installed it a few hours ago from here [windows download link] with no problems liked you described.
