I never quite understood how throwing a wrestled opponent works. Is there some way to aim the throw? Is it possible for Human McBeefcake to not just slam a goblin to the ground on the same square? I've heard all kinds of cool things about throwing, but right now, the only use i see is to stun and knock down opponents of equal size. Am i being dumb or what?

It may be worthwhile to have the babies fall into ring of fortifications or windows, to prevent anyone from catching and saving them.

If you'er several times stronger and bigger than them (Bronze Colossus to a Human for example) you can launch them hard enough to make them explode in gore.

That much i already know (and by golly it's awesome!), but thanks. I was just wondering if there's any way to control their trajectory, since... Well, this. It had me intrigued as to whether i could somehow slam the everloving fungus out of my foes by throwing them at walls.

The castlebloke keeps sending me to kill various megabeasts a long way from his castle. Will he eventually give me something more interesting to do than go to x, kill titan/dragon/megabeast, return to castle without being stabbed in my sleep?

Of course, since he doesn't actually walk around counting things, we can only assume that bookkeeping time is spent in deep meditation, psychically sensing exactly how many piles of orthoclase there are. It takes a while to hone a skill like that.

Not at the moment.  I think Toady's eventually planning to add assassination missions and things like that, but for now all quests are "go kill [thing that killed people/titan/megabeast].

I'm still attempting to avenge my people, but it is hard to end this bronze colossus scourge with SO MANY ROACHES. In 4 hours I moved about 8 Urists. This is ridiculous.

I've attempted just going through and removing all roaches from my RAWs, but now it just says it can't find the entry. If I can just find the part of the save file that make it even look for the roaches I'm sure I could convince it there are none and speed up this process.

maybe this should go into the modding section or something, I don't know. But please, someone tell me how to get rid of all these damn roaches that take more than 20 minutes to move!

Girlinhat: The biggest issue seems to be size.  A 1x1 room would allow for maximum child desecration.

Will this make them fly in any direction, or will it just slam them to the ground? If the former, then consider me hellaciously grateful.

Is there currently any way to treat infections?
Adventure mode? No.
Amputation (Read:Enemy lucky shot) may work.

Anyone know if/when medical treatment will be added to adventure mode?
(didn't see any mentions for this on the development list)

Also, does swimming in a river prevent and/or clean infections? And how would one go about it without drowning unskilled companions who can't swim? There is no way to wash oneself in a brook (instead of swimming in a river), is there?

I don't think washing will affect it.

And it would likely make it in in the adventurer skills arc. But as far as I know the arc system is being scrapped for a new system.

Basically, it probably won't make it in for a long time.

if you use DFusion to bodyswap into him and pick it up. Otherwise no.

What happens if I never sleep?
You get weary, begin to slow down and get killed by the nearest gnat.
