My character has "lost the ability to stand" How do I get it back? it's anoying as hell having to crawl everywhere
Find a crutch (plentiful in forts/keeps), equip it, and walk around somewhere safe until the Crutch walking skill improves.

You might get lucky in a shop for imported goods or a general store, but crutches in shops are fairly rare. I've found them more often in keeps/fortresses or bandit camps. Plus you don't have to pay.

Can one train the recuperation skill? Does it increase everytime you successfully heal from a non-lethal wound? Obviously training it would be inherently risky, but what would be the best way to do so if it is possible in the first place? Jumping off of a 1-z tile cliff with armour on perhaps?

Edit: Woops, Attribute is what I meant. Also, time for !!Science!!

No you can't train recuperation, besides, healable injuries heal by fast traveling one or more spaces.  Nerve and ligament damage is permanent for all but lycos.

Oh. That's too bad. Has this been proven with expirementation? If so, that means I jumped my adventurer off a 10 z-level cliff in the name of !!Science!! for no reason.

Ok, my next question is: does being stunned train anything? Like endurance for example?

It does it for all of us.

Its seems worst right outside the market, which is often right outside the keep, which is usally my final destination of any town.

I had a glitch once where I did something that made the whole market die.  All their tiny liitle daggers and their gold pouches and bodies lying in pools of blood. . .  twas a relief.

How exactly do adventurers interact with traps? I know you can see them with observer skill, but after that can you safely walk into them without triggering them? There's a row of cage traps blocking my fort.

If you see the traps, you and your companions can walk over them without any trouble. Don't worry about cage traps, they don't trigger in adventurer mode because there would be no way to get out.
