My apologies if I found someone using my past to accuse me of being a slut, mildly annoying

If you see that kind of shit happening to you, just walk away from the PC. Honestly. I'm jaded to personal attack, so I can hit back at leisure.
Also, this bastard focused on you mainly, and may have tried to get to you by reporting my posts and getting the thread locked. I've got half a mind to ask [someone] to look into this on grounds of harassment.

Why are you criticizing Merchant for being thin-skinned while you apparently can't handle the subject yourself without resorting to Internet Death Threats™ and otherwise acting all tough and vindictive?

If you had more than half a braincell, you'd have realized that I'm not actually "resorting to Internet Death Threats™", and also why I'm rather displeased with the current outcome.
Whoever was trolling was just a pitiful shittroll. And I see that as his shift is over, you're picking up the slack.

No rest for the contemptuous, I guess.

Dude, talking about how they "wouldn't find the body" if you knew who he was? Yeah, that's using quasi-death-threats as an internet posturing tool, and that's just crass and makes you look like you're beating your own chest and acting like you're in control of the situation.

There is no conspiracy going on here; I just think you're being kind of a jerk. I mean, judging by how you're talking to the other people here, and how you're talking about the troll, you're being very patronizing and condescending. Hell, I could understand you talking to me that way, because you probably don't like me, but don't you like these other people?

I mean, Merchant and I don't even really get along, but I still think that what the guy said to her was pretty bad, and here you are acting all patronizing by telling her to be thicker-skinned while you yourself respond to it with threats and posturing and trying to make yourself look good. If you were thick-skinned, you'd laugh it off and not give a damn; you wouldn't be talking about making people's bodies disappear, or complaining to people about "harrassment".
