You know, a Dirt Rod would probably make it a lot easier to look for islands- just drag two blocks up, and use them as platforms.

It may take a bit longer, but you don't use as much mana (presumably) as flying around with the rocket boots, and you don't have to worry about meteorites being wasted on sky-bridges.

I have a dirt rod and it's not that useful. When you grab a bit of dirt, it turns into something that looks like sand when it's falling and its affected by gravity. Really fun to randomly chuck dirt around, though.

Does it fall like sand? Because that is mass slaughter on bloodmoons

Yep, and it's not overpowered like sand. I've encased myself in dirt and I'm very much alive.

I encased my house in dirt throwing the stuff off-screen.

They are useful, but I found them to be kind of slow. I made a spare grapple just because there are some things you can do a lot faster with it. How would you build such a highway?

Just make small platforms in the air at the range of it, you can whip along suspended off the ground.

I think blue mushrooms grow on it.

You can grow mushroom grass and the grass from the underground jungle on it.

You can plant blue mushroom seeds on it, just make sure it is underground.

You know what should be changed with the UI, the save and quit button...
I just got killed with 50Gold Coins on me, dropping half. I was changing my Accessories for the trip back (Had removed Hermes Boots for the something else) and as I got to the bottom slot. I clicked Save and quit. Yay. I JUST LOST 25 COINS DUE TO UI!!!
