If the old man won't respawn... does that mean you can enter the dungeon without worrying about a curse?

Nevermind he respawned...

My game has a weird respawn thing... Things won't respawn near my town but I think that is because of my angel statue.

Off to fight skeletor again... without improved potions (because I can't find blue mushrooms and finding the IPs for multiplayer maps is hectic) it is going to be tough if I get hit by the spinning skull...

I cut down the ceiling and placed platforms to jump on.

Just defeated EoC for the first time, it's surprisingly easy with shurikens. I now have light's bane and I'm waiting on the dryad. I don't actually even have gold armour yet. Anyone have tips for finding gold? Is it best just to dig down once you hit a dead in in a cave system?

Actually it is much easier to skip gold armor then to actually make it.

Gold is oddly rare relative to the fact that it is easier to grind demon and meteorite armor.

Depending on how much you spelunk and care to bother with finding demon altars.

 Going demon armor kinda says that you spend more time on the surface that on long cave expeditions.

Things have decreased spawn rate around friendly NPCs. The more you have, the less will spawn in that area.

The fiery Greatsword is teh strongest!

If a tad slow.

Which sword should I use anyway? The phaseblade is outdated due me obtaining the Muramasa, and the Starfury is a waste of MP, so I have the choice between the Muramasa and the FGS.

Having done long cave expeditions... I am leaning towards Demon armor being more fun.

THOUGH it is mostly because the ONLY cave system I found (and not air pockets) were actually in the corruption lands.

Blade of Grass then? It is Muramasa with higher damage iirc. Droppable from jungle monsters.

It's more like a FGS with less damage that's slightly faster.

Nightmare pick, then meteorite and molten.

I'd say go directly for meteorite if you have an obsidian skull.

Does anyone fancy trying to cover an entire massive world (including the underground if we can get it to take hold) with corruption?

Including little pockets of corruption surrounded by ebonstone so they're hard to destroy? :p
