Less aesthetically pleasing than nenjin's, but I can't complain about the capacity.
Oh I don't know, one industrial glowing mushroom farm looks the same as the next. I did the back wall so we don't have creepy crawlies running through the mushroom farm. We've noticed that spawn rates around glow mushroom patches are really intense, compared to when you're moving around through the caves. With 3 other people, when I first established that place, I literally fought off guys for 10 minutes straight. I walled myself in and when everyone showed up to watch my back while I built, there were 10 or so guys waiting for them.
My new farm has those tall shrooms growing in it too, and the base above the entire farm. I'm not going to cut them down, since I can't grow them and they help make the farm not boring.
To bad there's a huge struggle in this game between aesthetics and practicality, or I'd make a mushroom farm that grows along the sides of a 1000 foot pit. Hell, maybe I'll do that anyways.
Seriously though, I don't know what's with the mushroom farming in this game, but I've easily put as much time into building perfect farms as anything else by now. I could have finished the game a while ago, but every time I hit a new world it's "gonna need a mushroom farm, be right back......"
