FAKEDIT: IIRC, chests are not affected by hardmode changes at all. Pots, however, will get affected by the changes (lesser potions become potions, etc).

However, hardmode does spawn mimics, so you can get an unlimited supply of certain artifacts.

After a painful round of hellstone mining, I've added full molten suit to spawn chests + turned one of cobalt shields into obsidian shield. Also, another manastar.

I did 3 of the islands, about 4/5 of the dungeon chests, and maybe 3 shadow chests.

I think people exaggerate the number of chests I've found :/.

Though I have probably found the most life crystals, at ~43 :>

Back to serioustety, though! Do we enter hardmode today or something? We could also wait until weekend - more people would be able to amass resources/gear before we go kill WoF (presumably several times - pwnhammer for erryun!)

Sort of makes me realise that one of the best way to troll a "start over" server without getting called out on trolling is simply to intentionally find all the hearts and chests as possible and destroy them.

Though... it wouldn't help since there are other ways to find hearts and chest items.

There's ton of chest and hearts underground It would be quite a feat to locate and destroy them all.

You wouldn't have to destroy them all. Just a significant amount so that there isn't enough to go around for the whole server.

Also Adamantite is very easy to find. In my oppinion Mithril is tougher (significantly so). I had a full set of Adamantite armor, weapons, and gear before I completed my set of Mithril armor.

I've basically cleaned out the donation chest, I'll get to hellmining now to replace the stuff I took.

What. The. Fuck. Does the server software track how long someone is on the server? If so I would like to see how long Twiggie has been on.

and i left my char logged in by mistake overnight, so it would be inaccurate anyway.
