If I had the money I would love to purchase ANY of your designs. But especially the triforce dice set. So awesome!

Here are a few doodles I draw everyday in school from sheer boredom...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Just plain ol' scruffy me. Smoking is bad, mkay kids?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Hanging out with three very dear friends of mine.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Doggie guardians! Draw them once in a while on a page and according to my friend they'll protect you and bring you happiness (a puppy a day keeps the blues away) :P Although nothing can save you from my handwriting.

With great ideas come great revisions.

(to whoever the dude is that bought the old one before I revised it, you now have a limited edition. :P)

Dwarf Fortress coin
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I revised the military dwarf side of the coin to not stick out, making the whole object less mass, and less mass = less production cost. The gold version of the coin for example is down $10 from before.

I wish this was real world currency...

At that quality it seems you would burn yourself out doing a picture a day. But maybe not.

Ooh, didn't notice this thread before.  Lots of cool stuff here.  I made a war hammer in Creo, and I took some screenshots of it:

A crossbow animation I made a while ago. I wanted to practice with animation in Blender, so I decided to animate it.

Jegus, I feel lost when I see art like this that was made in blender. I look and wonder, 'Just how in the hell did they get those intricate designs? How?!'. I'm sure there are plenty of tutorials around for detail modeling, but still.

Nice work. And you too, Gizogin! I don't think I've ever heard of Creo.

Also I really like that xbow, dreadmullet. Well done. I don't know if it's just my browser or the file format or what, but that looks like it could use some heavy anti-aliasing.

The answer lies in the modifier stack. Curves, arrays and empties. At least that's how I'd do it.

Stop looking for tutorials on each new problem you face (not because they don't exist) instead think back on the tutorials you've gone through and try to remember what skills you learned and how they can be applied to this next problem. :)

Was interested in doing this since I read about it and also did a reverse-image search on it as well.

What do you think?

I was ballparking the length of it (since I was compressing it big time, with full-on restraint; tail, of course, making the most of it's length, and the body needing to arch backward a bit as well), but I was thinking more how they would fit this behemoth within a 5mx5mx5m acid-proof tank; not to mention, how the thing was able to (still) chomp down on the poor fool eaten while getting a recording of it before talking, and since the incident, how the restraint on it's mouth would also be linked to the same apparatus that also binds it's arms and legs, as well as it's tail.

I also made sure to make him rather fuzzy, in nature (more like lots of hair, rather than feathers, considering the image, and the origins of the creature itself likely not following the same structure of our reptiles) in order to be consistent with the image. Having done a reverse-image search, knowing of the origins made me interpret the head shape better. I also included a diagram of how the head would look up-front, closed and half-open. He can still see you as he chomps forth. And even half-opened is enough to be like a crocodile, and he still has more range to chomp down with. More than enough to gobble up a fully grown adult or 2 whole.

This was a rough 15-minute rendering. About 1/12 the time it takes for me to make my better works (and those I haven't done in freaking ages). This was more a character drawing session, if anything. If anyone wants to render it in 3D, be my guest; and maybe we can toss this into SCP:CB while at it (at least, suggesting this appearance if it gets featured as wandering about.

Very good concept! I like your brainstorming process.
Would you draw a more detailed picture based on this sketch, please?

Kinda late, but I'll see what I can come up with while I'm not busy.

EDIT:

30 mins. Fairly good for reference.

EDIT EDIT:
I just realized; what sets SCP-682 apart from other reptiles is that, although subtle, it has opposable thumbs, as well as toes.
