Looks pretty good! Worth noting that the head perspective seems to disagree with the body perspective.

MOAR BRIGHT

Shinies are just completely ridiculous on the brightness spectrum, often just a hairs breadth away from pure white (or whatever colour the light source is). Obviously it varies from surface to surface, but generally, specular highlights are basically reflections of the light source itself, with very little tinting from the surface.

also i figured i should try to make more dynamic poses so hurf durf

That is the colour of the light source. :P The absolute highlights are 100% shiny. I'm mostly struggling with exact extent and placement (mostly because I'm a horrible person and I don't look at references nearly as much as I should).

Also, pose is pretty dynamic, good job!

I've followed up on promises made long ago of a Sherlock: Season 4-7 dramatic reading. You can listen to the first chapter of it here. I recommend reading along with it, because an audio performance can only do it so much justice.

Featuring Me With a Bad British Accent as Sherlock Holmes, Me With My Voice Twenty Percent Higher as Sherlock Holmes' Girlfriend, and Me With My Voice Twenty Percent Lower as Moriarty. Music from Ace Attorney, Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, and Xenoblade Chronicles has been added to enhance the experience, along with a brief clip of "Yellow" by Coldplay.

Oh hey, Fortuna! I quite dig your weird bald critter, too.

That Cosmodex is an interesting project; offering submissions to flesh out the setting and whatnot, I take it?

Thanks,

Today I made a 3D worldgen in Unreal Engine 4, started on it last night, so it's still in it's super early stages,

I can't get the normals on half of the polygons to face the right way for some reason,

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Should have it fixed soon though, not sure exactly what I want to do with it yet,

One possible cause; are you numbering the vertices in reverse order on the messed-up triangles?

I ran into this issue, when making this thinger in Unity. Not sure how you're doing this, or if UE4 does it this way, but the winding order of the vertices can determine a triangle's facing / normal. Basically, you want the verts in a given triangle to be assigned in clockwise order, relative to wherever you want the face / normals to be pointing. It's easier to illustrate than for me to convey it in words, but I hope this makes sense!

Yeah, that's how I ended up fixing it,
This tool I'm using has a part about being able to define the normals with a vector, but that wasn't working, even though that is supposed to over write the original orientation,  I was trying to get that to work for a while before I decided to just have the verticies generate in a different order,
