No permissions for that either. However, it seems that citizens can use promote, so it looks like it's an issue with the Sage rank.

Also, the NM forest has researched defense turrets, we're boned.

Edit: here's my crazy plan:
We make an outpost of some sort, perhaps a trojan pony, and we use that as a base for releasing snowmen into the forest and for resupplying flint&tinder. Perhaps have a small subway going to and from it.

Castle Von Pimpenstein is now operational, and should serve as a good vantage point for fighting the forest.

The nightmare forest surrounds the city of Markov on two sides. Vile creatures that usually only dare emerge at night inhabit the dark, twisted woods. We've tried chopping it down, burning it, blowing it up, burning it some more, but it just grows back even more horribly. On the plus side, we have a double chest full of logs, and that's not enough storage for all the lumber we collect from it.

And it is now in secure storage. How do you allow a second person access to a chest with lockette, does anyone know?

R-click the sign, it'll give you a message.
Then use /lockette (Line #) (Message).

The first sign is [Private], don't change that.
Second line is your name, don't change that either.
The 3rd and fourth lines are the ones you want to change.

So /lockette 3 (Name of player)

Server was a bit laggy, so I got more ram for it. Doubled from 1gig to 2. Tell me how the performance is now?

Umm... For some reason, all my skills are now at 0.

Edit: It seems that ALL the skills were screwed up. Murphy apparently gained 500 points in axes in a few hours (623). Roboboy dropped back to 6 unarmed with everyone else having 0. mctop Herbalism still shows me having 428 herbalism even though my own stats say 0...

Whaaat? That's really odd. I'll try and figure out what went wrong but I can't even get on to check it because I'm re-downloading minecraft at a whopping 0.03kb/s. >_<

It's possible that the numbers for skills was shifted around somewhat, 623 was my skill in mining.

Did Mcmmo update recently?

I think I know what happened. I set the server to backup about twice a day, but the backup files themselves are pretty big. About 100megs each. Eventually there were 5 backup files, one temporary backup file, and the world itself. Then server ran out of hard drive space, and I think the mcmmo.users file (the file where users' skill levels are saved) couldn't be written to disk and was lost.

There's nothing I can do, as plugin files and their dependencies aren't backed up, so all the skills were lost (except, mysteriously, some of steph1131's and some of Mobius') The only thing I can do now is complain to the hosting company about getting this error in the first place.
