Ugh. Anyways, I just now got back to doing the fort because I like to be able to update while I do it and that Database Error on the forums wasn't allowing me to do that. Expect edits to this post until another post happens.
Our Civ is called The Entangled Murk
Ok, we started in a seemingly nice place, three xen infectors almost next to us but they ran away as soon as Meph waved his steel short sword at them. We have visible marble so we have flux for possible steel and lots of soil and clay for farms. I started digging into the marble wall for the entrance and Meph chased some satyrs for a bit of training but didn't catch up with them. Nothing bad right now, moving along.
Aww come on, you cut its arm off, why could't you get the rest of it? Now it ran off the map.
Now thats more like it.
New dwarves have come to the fort. Two generic dwarves, one claims to have done a bit of beekeeping (Os Sodelteling, competent beekeper) while another has done a some metalcrafting (Erush Geshudidos, competent metalcrafter). A fisher savant by the name Zen also came with them. She finds helping others rewarding so what better job than to be a doctor.
Well, I'm at Galena already and have some workshops down and carving rooms. Farms are up and everything is underground. Building a pit for various seigers to fall into once we eventually get seiged. Two entrances, one of which will be made a lot longer and be used for caravans.
