TwbT shouldn't be loaded unless you've compiled it for 0.40.23 or forgot to change the DFHack version. (For example, if DFHack is built as "0.40.19-r1", it'll load any plugins built with "0.40.19-r1", which can cause crashes if they're not actually compatible with the DF/DFHack version being used.) I'm not sure if TwbT is the problem in this case, but you could try removing it from the hack/plugins folder.

Ohh. my favourite function for a new fort, and I just started one.. Makes planning a bit easier, and lets me avoid the mess I made in the last one.. hmm, where can I get that reddit version?

Here. A new build was just posted that fixes a lot of the problems the old one had.

Yup, realized that I had forgot to swap over the new plugins folder which doesn't have it in there, checking to see if I've got it fixed.

Hmmm, fresh df, fresh dfhack, no twbt, loads up and freezes at title screen with nothing wrong in the error log, says it is running fine supposedly.

Hmmm, with .plugins it just blinks and crashes instantly, put it back to normal and tried .scripts out of curiosity and it froze harder than ever, had to close the terminal tab and forcibly kill the process after trying to kill it normally and it just sitting there.

going to test that reddit dfhack for 0.40.23 Windows and will tell what works, if it crashes, etc.

I'm using DFHack 40.19 on the 40.19 version of Dwarf Fortress to try and mess around with a fort, test some things out etc. Unfortunately, it seems the 'force' command doesn't work. Anyone know any reasons why this might be?

Sieges were completely changed on 0.40.01 to basically something else entirely.

That explains the sieges, but it says "force" in itself isn't a command.

It's been moved to modtools/force, but it doesn't seem to have been updated for 0.40.xx at all (unless there are other versions of it floating around that I'm not aware of).

So many fixes recently, I have a feeling that .24 will be released soon.
Toady has an unnerving ability to time his releases to coincide with either the DFHack update or the Lazy New Pack update that follows quickly thereafter.

I told PE that he should commit to daily updates of the Pack and see how Toady responds :)
