Clare then searched around and took a simple, slim lance for herself, alongside a single vulneary.
"Mmm, this should do, I suppose."

"Yes. My father sent me with a friend of his to learn. Although I prefer to not use it. Some people get nervous when I do. But dad used to say that I was quite good with it, and the truth is, I am going to need it."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"I see. Well, hopefully we won't need your magic or my music to escape. If we can get out quietly, so much the better!"

Optimistic as she was, she didn't believe that was going to happen. The group knew almost nothing about the prison - not the layout, not the patrol routes, shift changes... At least they had lucked out on the armory, which gave them a better chance of making it out than they had before.

[Powder Miner]

Senija riffled through the various weapons before her hands closed around a pair of lances. She tossed one at her brother before leaning on her own orange-and-blue patterned weapon, still smiling at the prospect of escape.

:"Now we're talkin! I'm Senija Cizek, highlander and wyvern rider turned mercenary turned prisoner after punching a guy. This doof here:" She elbowed Tomik playfully, "is my brother."

Catching his lance with ease, Tomik let out a deep breath and then gave a slight grin.

"As she said. I'm Tomik Cizek, highlander and wyvern rider turned mercenary turned prisoner after preventing the guy she punched from punching her back. To be fair, he deserved the punching. Unfortunately, he was about 4 ranks higher than either of us. Thus why we're here, instead of just kicked out of the army with no pay."

"Good to meet you both. Nice to finally get a chance to talk instead of just look through the bars."

"What? It was either that or read the graffiti on the walls, and that got old quick."

[Ochita]

Albert looked at Lillian's... Instrument? And began to open his mouth when he spotted a pile of what seemed to be 'priestly' things in the corner nearby her. He walked over, and started to rummage around.

"W.. Well, my name's Albert.. Albert Rudolph. From Ixion."

"Oh, here it is!"

A moment later Albert picked out a heal staff, along with a small sidebag, after checking the contents he gave a small happy nod to himself, and he in turn took a vulnerary and stashed it inside.

"I'm a priest.. In-training, anyway, but I can still help people!"

[Sirus]

: "...How'd a kid like you end up here? Stealing from the collection plate? Nah, you don't seem the type..."

[Ochita]

: "What? No! I'd never do anything like that! I... I may have accidentally helped out a gang by mistake..."

[Swordstar]

Tomik blinked and groaned internally. This group sure was something...

"If everyone's ready, we should probably head out. Don't want someone stumbling on our empty cells and raising the alarm. We want to get out quickly and quietly, right? So then, lets go."

[Sirus]

Harlan nodded. At least that one had a decent head on his shoulders.

: "He's right. If an alarm goes off they'll seal the entire prison, and our chances of survival - never mind escape - will drop like a man in the gallows."

[Powder Miner]

:"Riiight, quiet, makes sense I guess. No chance we're gonna be able to sneak forever, though. I figure once we get outside we're gonna have a heellll of a harder time, what with the open terrain and Modra and Ranzen and the fact we'll be trying to steal a ship. You know."

[Sirus]

: "Speaking of stealing a ship, I don't suppose anyone here knows how to--"
He broke off in a brief coughing fit, then continued.
: "--how to sail? It'd be much easier than threatening the crew to steer the ship for us."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"...Except for the ride over here, I've never been on a ship before. Sorry."

[Swordstar]

"Sorry, more used to flying than sailing. Neither Senija or I will be much help there. We'll figure something out though. Our wyverns can always cart a few extra bodies if need be."

With that, he headed towards the door, getting ready to head out once everyone was ready.
