Superman T-Shirt (FG)
« on: February 20, 2018, 07:31:39 pm »

This is a game about a unisex Superman t-shirt, and the strange places it ends up.

Rules
Someone writes a paragraph about someone wearing the Superman t-shirt. As little or as much as you want, just try and mention how the person uses the t-shirt in their lives. Remember to put it in bold.
"Alice is wearing the Superman t-shirt. She's a Libra, and hangs out in nightclub toilets for undisclosed reasons. The t-shirt helps people identify her when she gives them instructions to meet her."
The person below them must explain how their someone got the t-shirt off the last person.
"Bob met Alice in a nightclub and traded his ecstacy pills for the t-shirt."
Then they write a paragraph, like the last person.
"Bob thinks he's a mystery novelist, but he's never actually written anything. The Superman t-shirt reminds him of his ex-wife, who was a serious comics nerd, so he wears it to remind him of her."
Repeat ad nauseum.

Tips
Try to yes and. Instead of introducing a whole new element, try riffing on the last person's post. Even better, go way back to another user and circle around.
This will start in a modern Earth, but it's totally okay if you want the t-shirt to go back in time or hop dimensions. In fact, it's encouraged.
Try not to destroy the t-shirt, or alter it to the point where it's no longer a t-shirt. Tears, stains, and mods should be fine.

To begin:
Brian won the t-shirt in a phone-in radio competition. He mainly uses it as a nightshirt as his apartment is extremely cold.

Not long after, Brian got a girlfriend, Samantha. Having an extra person in bed meant he was less concerned about being cold at night, whilst Samantha claimed the Superman t-shirt as her own night shirt, being smaller than Brian she didn't have to wear anything else with it.

When they broke up after two years, Samantha kept the t-shirt. It still served its purpose as a night shirt.

After Samantha's little brother Thomas had a fight with their parents and left their house,Samantha gave him the shirt so he will have what to wear.

Thomas use the shirt mostly for cos-play.

After Thomas lost interest in cosplay, he gave it to his friend Tony, who wears it at home.

Brian at this point, was homeless. He broke into Tonies house at one point, used his bathroom toiletries to rip a toenail out of his foot and then left into the night, wearing the Superman T-shirt.

Brian was later arrested by the police for public indecency.(He only wore the T-shirt, you see) The Superman T-shirt was collected and stored at the downtown precinct

The T-Shirt went unnoticed for quite some time until the fateful police auction of 2013. It was, of course, not bought by anyone. It was ratty, worn, and nearly falling apart. But that did not stop it from being donated to the local Goodwill store, where owner Edna Nicebaubles put it on the shelf.

An ancient tailor bought the ratty old superman T-shirt, and patched it all up with charmingly nit yarn patches, and give it to his grandson, Eir Roth-Kelly.

Eir Roth-Kelly did not like this yarny abomination of a T-shirt, no matter how well-crafted.  Luckily he knew just the place where he could get rid of it without making a fuss.

John Ledger was a very happy man. Just recently he won a phone-in radio competition and received a very warm T-shirt. What luck! It was just what he needed tonight. He was scamming an old lady, you see, and the extra yarn would certainly help him trick her into thinking he's her grandson.

Alternate ending (invalid but already typed up)

The grandson had too much swag and duplicates became popular in kindergarden, but none were as chic as his. Until he vomitted on it and Wendy Lue, the daycare attendant lost it behind the laundry machine when taking out a load.

John Ledger was a happy man who kept to himself. "John Ledger" drove John Ledger's car, wore John Ledger's clothes, and spoke like John Ledger. To his neighbors, that was good enough.

"John Ledger" was a really happy man, having acquired a priceless statue from Ma Ledger, whose eyesight had been failing her for years. The ratty Superman t-shirt proving quite the disguise.

"John Ledger" was soon found in a shallow grave next to John Ledger, out in the woods. The T-shirt ended up in the possession of Slick, who had settled some outstanding debts with "John Ledger"

Slick wore the t-shirt to the wedding of his boss's daughter, Samantha, as a joke. Before he could show it off, an assassin from the Omerta clan blew his brains out. The bride, clipped in a crossfire, used the t-shirt to staunch the flow. Samantha survived and kept the shirt: not a memento mori, but pretty close.
