I have a Facebook account. I would like to get rid of it, but it's my only method of communicating with certain people.
Someone I knew years ago in high school is complaining about receiving tips at work. I'll just to a bit of copy/pasta and editing and let this speak for itself.

Take into account this person/s might just have wanted a nice meal and didn't have a lot of extra money to tip with? I'll admit on the outside it seems like a prick move, but on occasion there is more then what is immediately obvious.

If I want a coke and it's either tip an extra buck fifty or get a soda, I'd get a soda...just saying

Why does that matter? No I didn't but regardless good service deserves a good tip and back to what I said before...if you can't afford to tip stay home.

That person might have had kids, parents, or some other thing in life going on and they wanted to get out on Saturday and eat a nice meal. You don't know why they tipped low, just that it happened. It's better to just remember that for every person that tips like that there is someone that over tips. I have left a ten for $30 check. I don't do it every single meal, but sometimes I do it.

People who argue points like that have never made a living off being a server. 10% should be a minimum. If you cant afford to tip 10% don't go out. Obviously if you get terrible service an exception can be made but [she] is an amazing server and I highly doubt that was the case.
It goes on and on and on and on. It covers an even wider range of stupidity. She's just fine with making much less than minimum wage from the restaurant and freely admits that she makes much more than minimum wage when tips are factored in. But if one of the many tables that she serves dares leave a tip that's less than she finds acceptable? Dear deities, get out of her way.
How about the part where her and her serving buddy reiterate over and over again that poor people should never eat at sit-down restaurants if they can't tip the expected amount, circumstances be damned? Or the part where everyone, even those who don't know her, should tip extra because she decided to pop out babies immediately after high school but having babies of your own isn't an excuse to tip her less than she wants.
I think it's about time to go on yet another friend removal spree to get rid of all of the morons and jackasses who seem to always slip through the cracks.
