Talos runs like a maniac all the way down to the second floor with Derm in hot pursuit. Talos manages to put a while level between them though.

Just gonna remind you that you can only use one word per turn with your current pool. There's no way to go negative. It probably won't matter because the electric word is fairly lethal anyway though.

I wonder how I can escape Metaldome 2000. I could try to arc-weld my way right through with repeated ROTHONS, but that seems like it could backfire hilariously.

If I knew the word for metal, I could create a metal control stick...

Unless it's either alive or picked up, it'll disappear after a few turns. As for making a permanent change to the arena, it's perfectly possible, and will stick around until someone decides to fix it. And by the look of things, the waitlist is going to be moving along very rapidly.

Depends on the item really. A piece of metal someone summons and then never touches again vanishes, but anything someone messes with or uses stays. Damage to the arena stays too, so if you collapse a stairwell, it stays collapsed for instance.

Talos spell fails to make anything but a shimmering nothing that vanishes back into normal, nonshimmering nothing an instant later.

Despite this Talos manages to keep just barely ahead of Derm, that is of course, until they both reach the ground level and there is no where left to run. At least no where that doesn't have a giant metal bear or unknown sorcerer.
