So yeah. I had gear set out for both of you like breastplates and an iron sword and silver hammer. But as soon as everything started zombies showed up and I kept getting the error "interrupted while picking up equipment." like the screenshot of the two of you being surrounded by zombies was 3-5 squares away from the cart, which was one z level up. I guess you guys were having like a macho off. "OHHHH i can kill of all of them with my teeth and my hand tied behind my back"...... " THAT"S NOTHING! i CAN do the same with both arms cut off swinging them with my teeth" You guys just thought using actual weapons isn't manly enough or something!

OK, so seeing as this fort seemed to be grinding to a halt, I reclaimed, started organising the fort and got up to the first migration wave for stability. The trick was to kill the Necromancers before they raised anything, but the goblins are still there. Not enough strength to deal with them, but that can be done later. Don't know if you want to use it or not, W0lfBane, but it's there if you want it, just slightly more stable.

Edit: Also, I set orders for a lot of coffins, there are many corpses. Thirteen Dwarves in total.

Wow thank you Dwarfy.... As much as i would love too. I'm smack in the middle of a huge design project so i'm busy the rest of this week and i don't feel like me faffing about for a week is productive to the grinding halt situation we have going. So i will postpone my turn if possible and i will let gnorm take my turn in the interim.

Fear not! I've not forgotten about this fortress, I've merely been planning as to how I should go about restoring the outpost. Fortress reclaim can be quite messy.
