You'd be better off with Pak 40's and Flak 18's. Or lots of land mines. Or both.

Well I'm just a anonymous grunt who's passing suggestions for rough plan's to the general so your better off telling that stuff to him.

blazinglory: I can't see any purple dots.
GrizzlyAdams: I can't see any black stars.

Blazing, can you post the image to a different site? Imgur is blocked in China.
Mind if I ask why?

Only problem I can see is that if they bring armor, your infantry will get flattened, and that the cannon's lines of sight are blocked by buildings.
That's what combined arms are for.
LoS doesn't matter much for artillery. Then again, artillery shouldn't be right next to the target.

bg's latest plan looks good. Let's see how GA adapts his plans to the panoramic view.

I have a few questions:
1. Officers get 100 points, right? Is this taken from the general's 400 points or is it seperate?
2. Do infantry units come with inherent anti-tank weapons (eg Panzerfausts) or is this covered by 'extra specialities'?
3. Are any sdkfz 251/10s available? (the ones with Pak 36s mounted). If so, what is their point cost?

I would ask why fire can burn two men to death without getting hot enough to burn a book, but then I read "INEXTINGUISHABLE RUNNING KAMIKAZE RADIOACTIVE FLAMING ZOMBIE" and realized that logic, reason, and physics are all occupied with crying in the corner right now.

Well the purple dots on my previous plan (which assumed that the road was actually a poorly done river) are a bit faint, they also might look a bit pink depending on how you look at them.

GrizzlyAdams black stars are to the middle left.

Separate, only one panzerfaust a squad, yes for an extra 15R.

No change, I want to stop them in the bend to avoid friendly fire but still have multiple firing angles. Plus the only cover out there are the trees that hem them in and some hay bails, (and a booby-trapable ditch if I'm reading it right).
Perhaps instead of using landmines as a backstop in case the front ranks try to drive through, we could hide a tank behind the bushes on the right where I'd suggested a mortar team could be placed- just roll it out onto the road when the ambush starts.

If there are a lot of them in the convoy, we might need maps of the rest of the map. They might be too large a line to manage in such a small space & we'll get flanked without proper prep.

Spoiler: Mappy map (click to show/hide)

What kind of range can we count on?
Would the house on the left be able to engage units on the far side of the pond?

Details on enemy forces are unknown, so it's best to prepare for the worst.

Only the riflemen could get shots out, but most of them would miss. Snipers could kill things though.

On that note, where's our glorious leader? We should really get this moving.

Hmm, our hauptmann is sleeping. I'll let another officer take his requisition if he doesn't return soonish, we need to get the game rolling.

General and Officers, state your shopping lists. Remember, 400R for the general and 100R for all the others. I'll give you the price of something if you need it.

What panzerkampfwagens can I get out of the 100 points? Ideally, having a mix of artillery, three tanks, and infantry to fill in the rest would be good.

You could get a crewed Panzer IV or a StuG for 100R, or a Panzer II for 75R. Tanks aren't cheap for the NGR.
