The 3-day trial rule has been in effect all along. The trial ended a while ago and the jury has finished deliberating.

"Have you forgotten to take into effect that time is slower in this courtroom? Indeed, while a fair bit of time may be passed outside, only half a day has passed in here."
The 3-day rule is meant specifically to help the "outside" in rapidly dealing with the recently large crime wave. Going by "inside" time counters the purpose of the law and the law was made with "outside" time in mind anyway.

"Well I'm not seeing any large crime waves here."

"By your reasoning, the law was also made with the physical world in mind, as this is a internet trial it doesn't apply."

"I have no idea who put the time dilation device in here nor where he put it."

Suddenly, a shady man in a cape pulls out a knife, grabbing a juror!

The man takes the juror hostage and drags her out of the room!

The rest of the jury, including the man the prosecution had accused of arranging a jury, runs after the kidnapped juror and her assailant!

((but that juror was obviously a woman!

Still gonna watch her get knifed

Shouldn't there be a security detail in there? Court rooms always have a security detail. And not to mention metal detectors at the doors.))
