[Skolld, god of Binding and Bone]

Skolld is in his wolf form once again.
"I have now allowed them to choose, did you not see my change to my command? There is a delay between sending and receiving. I can use that delay.
As for the other gods, I used to hear them all the time. Now I do not, likely because of the body I possess.

But I ask again, who are you?

"You're either telling the truth or you're a hallucination. You gain and lose nothing from truth or lie. Therefore no reason not to assume truth."

"I have a question for you by the way. What do you know of 'Nothing?'"

"Is it the domain of wolves that allow communication to this mortal body so easily?
Also, something seems off about your speech now.
"

Edit: Strikethrough.

"I have no idea. I'm just talking towards you like I would another deity."

((Ignore the color issue. That was accidental.))

(I just realized Azem claimed to be about a thousand ticks old, not a hundred. Whoops. A hundred is correct though.)

"Ah yes. That. I have my suspisions. I might even tell you of them one day. But I remember what knowledge of dark things did to my bubble. It tore the Council apart in an endless cycle of paranoia."

"I'll be off then, I got things to do. Which doesn't include being judged by other gods with their arbitrary rules."

"Explain? Why paranoia?"
"I think I know what he means. The lynch mob that emerged against Utther is something that would incite paranoia, as well as the subterfuge going on around."

"Also, the Council? What's that?"

It is quite possible portal magic was simply unfamiliar to them, and they weren't aware they could do that. After all, it can take years to fully master its intricacies, and their teaching might have been imperfect. Where did they learn it again?

I believe it unwise to so quickly abandon invested resources if they slightly displease you.

"Abandon? No. They displease me, but just because they have shown themselves to be incompetent does not mean I will leave them so soon. More failures and idiocies and then perhaps I will. But not yet."

"I'm almost certain they don't exist here. Their orbit would've taken them close enough to this bubble for them to have communicated by now. Assuming this place is even a bubble as I understand the concept."

Azem sighs.
"There exist beings beyond even the power and comprehension of gods. At least where I come from. That is all I will say on the matter."

"I refer to the Council of gods. A union as old as the gods themselves."

"Much as a planet orbits it's star, the Null get caught in the orbit of bubbles. Or something. I was never as concerned about the supposed threat from the Void. I never read the texts concerning them in our Divine Library, though I am given to understand texts from other bubbles ended up there. Somehow."

Was it Illyria who taught the Rilem portal magic? I'm just curious about along which channels magical knowledge is propagating.
